Ahmad Khan Rahami is Arrested in Manhattan and New Jersey Bombings

It happens. Yet over 10,000 a year die in the US from murder and not a peep.

We hear about it all the time especially when Islam is concerned. The bulk of those murders occur in big cities run by liberals and are due to gang violence and failed policies.

Also these murderers only want to run a street or street corner not dominate the world and destroy Western civilization. But you seem to think this is somehow relevant, it is not.

You might want to take that up with the democrat mayors in Chicago, LA, Detroit, NYC, etc., etc., etc.........................

Nope- It is clear that one is more of a threat to human life than the other.

I didn't expect you to follow the point. Can I assume that the dead who you mourn are more important that the dead I mourn? Your words are hollow. If you possessed the courage of your convictions, you'd move to Southside Chicago, and singlehandedly clean up the devastation.

The guy is a precious snow-flake.
As pure as the driven snow.

He's not a radical Islamic would-be killer, he's just a misunderstood young man who is probably (okay, surely) innocent of any wrong-doing.

It's all just a horrible misunderstanding.

Please just look away.
Nothing to see here.

Look away.
Use your television channel-changer, and watch Dancing With The Stars, or Game Of Thrones.
That'll make everything better.

Watch more television.
There are no radical Islamist bombers, it's all just a vast right-wing conspiracy.
Watch more television, and take your medications.

There's nothing wrong with you taking Ambien every night, Valium every morning, and Zoloft three times a day.
Say, did I mention, watch more television, and everything will be okay?

Hey now.

I know this might disrupt your narrative, but my views are mainly considered "left" these days, and I certainly am not under the impression that no terrorists who believe in one form of radical Islam or other are in the US.

Of course there are some here. It's a given.

What are my views you ask? I'm basically a Sanders supporter.

Yeah, you might want to take NYC off that list unless you just want to sound ignorant about violent crime rates. It's a relatively safe city - with a lower murder rate than Tulsa, Houston, Dallas, Louisville, Tampa, Omaha, Anchorage, etc..........

And LA is about like San Antonio, Lexington KY and Nashville.

Those deaths, and the 40,000 killed in autos, the 4.5 million auto-related injuries, etc. are relevant because they put the risk for an ordinary person in perspective. Bottom line is spending any time in actual fear of 'terrorism' is almost entirely irrational. I'm glad we have thousands or 10s of thousands of people working hard to prevent terrorist attacks and we should give them the resources they need, but other than that, I don't see any reason to live in fear of terrorism any more than I fear going to work in my car.

So I guess that I can glean from your bombshell revelation that you are perfectly happy with the number of homicides in NYC?

Maybe you can give a pep rally to all the widows and widowers from back on 9/11. Go Braveheart, Go!

Everyone says fear except me. Why is that? Can you say phony narrative? I said it is more anger than fear by far.

No, 9/11 was a national tragedy. Just a few weeks ago I visited the 9/11 memorial, and it was pretty moving and very sad. Spent about 4 hours on site, and in the museum. But I certainly didn't spend anytime worrying about terrorism or terrorist during our week-long visit, or getting murdered for that matter. It would be irrational, and I have better things to worry about than remote risks of dying from a terrorist attack. Like what shows in NYC were available at the TKTS window at a discount, and where I could get a good birds eye photo of the city at night.

I don't know what you mean by "perfectly happy." It's a safe place to visit, that's for sure, and based on actual evidence and not your made up narrative, one of the SAFEST large cities in America - see my link.

You don't hear conservatives talk about black on black crime? I hear their concern frequently regarding that issue. Maybe it doesn't circulate much in your liberal circles, since you guys are there for Trayvon and completely unconcerned for the other several thousand blacks homicide victims each year.

OK, if it makes you feel better being angry, that's fine I guess. Are you also angry about auto deaths? About 110 deaths every day. 12,000 injuries every day. People texting and driving are more dangerous than terrorists in this country, so why not be angry at them?

Nice strawman!

NEW YORK BOMBER'S ISLAMIST LINKS...

US authorities were investigating on Monday night whether the New York bomb attacks were an Islamist terror plot as it emerged the alleged perpetrator had traveled to Afghanistan and Pakistan several times and showed signs of having been radicalized.

Ahmad Rahami, 28, was captured on Monday in a gunfight with police in the city of Linden, New Jersey, after an intense manhunt.

Two officers were shot and wounded when they responded to a tip from the owner of a bar that a man resembling Rahami – whose photo was widely circulated on television news channels – was hiding in the doorway.
Rahami had traveled several times to both Afghanistan and Pakistan, people who knew him said on Monday night, and on his return appeared to have been radicalized.

If it just wasn't so full of Nanny State , liberal douchebags.

What a stupid comparison. There is no ideology driving auto deaths or your other examples.

Nice strawman!

Liberals post stories of black on black crime rates here at DP?
..........................nope. In fact, they usually berate anyone who brings it up.

Yeah, they're real concerned about it.

C'mon man, stop being so deliberately obtuse. Deaths related to automobile accidents are caused by idiots who are involved in...wait for it...accidents. Terrorists are pathological serial killers who are raised from there earliest days to kill innocent women, children, old people, and combatants. They are muthafreakin' animals. Stop trying to establish moral equivalency where none exists. It makes you remarks looks pitifully ignorant.

I like Bernie Sanders.
He's passionate, he's steadfast in his views, and mainly, he's honest.

Unlike the grotesquely-dishonest Hillary Clinton.

Had it not been for the corruption inside the DNC, and their unwillingness to support any candidate other than Crooked Dame Hillary, Bernie would have won the Democrat nomination, hands down.
Of that I am certain.

Yeah, it happens. Almost five times that many die from drug overdoses. Same thing for the number of people who kill themselves. And hospitals kill at least ten times that many just from giving people bacterial infections, depending on which source one cares to cite. And how many people do you think were murdered with that liberal bugaboo, the so-called "assault weapon"? I'll give you a hint: More people are murdered every year with hammers than by all types of rifles, including assault weapons, and you could fit that number in an average-sized university lecture hall. And while we're at it (attacking the assault weapons menace), we should probably ban ladders, too, since 15,000 people die every year from falls.

lol... as if you guys bringing them up actually meant you gave a rats ass about their lives instead of bringing it up solely to score some form of cheap-shot political points.
