They have both houses now. Let them pass something to address the above issues

Haven't you read a word I've said?

Sure. You said it was Harry Reid's fault. He's gone,so let them fix the problem.
Is that a reason not to stop it?
sigh...
I said much more than it was Reid's fault. Is that really all you got out of my words? But, do you agree that Reid is part of the problem about why the Republicans "haven't gotten things done"?
In any case, depending how this election works out, the problem might be fixed...or it might get worse....or it just might stay the same.
I'm guessing it will get worse.
Everyone seems to think that Congress is terrible, but their congressperson is just peachy keen, so don't expect any major changes there.
And Harry Reid is gone. The Republicans have a majority in both houses. When can we expect some legislation to address problems like the inner cities and the cost of health care?
Well, I say maybe after Obama lets the front door smack him on the ass. And I say "maybe" for a reason. So far, we haven't heard much of anything about what legislation Hillary might propose but you can be assured a Republican controlled Congress won't be doing much of anything she might want. On the other hand, Trump has made proposals and it's more likely a Republican controlled Congress will support at least some of his stuff.
So...the answer to your question is: Maybe after the election.
It's up to the president to propose legislation, then, or nothing gets done in Congress.
All this time, I thought passing legislation was the job of the legislative branch.
Wow - it took only one post to call for more government spending.
sigh...
You know what...I'm going to try to say this so I don't get pinged by the mods...but I'm sick and tired of you constantly misunderstanding what I say. I think you are doing it deliberately, because I cannot believe anybody can actually be so goddamned stupid...not even you.
So...until you deign to conduct an honest, intelligent conversation, you are dismissed.

and pointing out that the Congress writes legislation and that both houses have a majority of Republicans is not honest and intelligent.
OK, then, all Republicans rock and all Democrats suck. There.
