'Make America Great Again' branded as hate speech on Canadian campus

It's a foreign country ... it can ban whatever it feels like banning?

What a terrible argument. So we shouldn't criticize foreign countries? This is ridiculous, you're supporting the suppression of speech as a "libertarian"??

Oh no, this isn't SJW. People like this are in a category all their own.

It's become a mainstream liberal position, to ban any and everything "offensive" on college campuses. "Offenses" included being White, asserting that there are only two genders, being a patriotic Christian, and refusing to submit to communist propaganda!

FIRE has completely exposed the suppression of speech on American campuses and the explicit support from Democratic politicians. You should check out some of their recent legal challenges.

Seriously?

I'm sorry, but I call BS.

She's already admitted to lying once.

Who in their right mind would drop a class they want to take and probably need the credits for, all because someone is wearing a hat. This pretty much sums up the modern left on college campuses, who, for the most part, are not in their right mind. So, I do believe it.

Agreed. If they're THAT sensitive, they have such deep-rooted insecurity issues that they'll never make it in life anyway.

That university is its own country? I thought it was part of Canada - don't they tolerate free speech over there? Or can anything be labeled 'hate speech'?

So one student saying it is hate speech suddenly means both the university and Canada label it as hate speech? This is one of the most sensationalist headlines I have ever read.
