While what she did was wrong and indefensible, let's not forget that Donald did that...to Mexicans, blacks, Muslims, handicapped and war veterans.

Personally I think she is somewhat off but not totally out of whack with her comments.

I think she is right, of the avid Trump supporters about 40% are angry white Muslim hating/Hispanics disliking people with among a portion of those supporters varying degrees of racist attitudes, 60% are angry white voters who feel the government is failing them/the country and regular Republican voters who strongly support Trump because they thought he was the best of the candidates this year.

I think that this however is not the same for people who are planning to vote for Trump. The Trump supporters are mostly those who voted from him in the primaries and the Trump voter is made up of the entire group of Trump supporters (the primary ones) and that group may be 15 to max 20% of the Trump voters. The rest 80% are the republicans who voted for any of the other candidates, independent who support Trump because he runs as a republican and rest is made up of people who are Never Hillary.

So she is largely right about the Trump primary supporters specifically and not about the Trump voter in general,, I think she should have made that much clearer.

My family in Kentucky are wonderful people. They will be voting for Donald Trump. They are not racists or any other FORM of -ists. They are hard-working people who are smart enough to realize that regular OL' politicians have let them down. And they're sick of it. They're sick of their fly-over concerns being neglected by the political elite and hope that Donald Trump will shake things up. They are not deplorable. They are -- school teachers, church elders, Federal employees, dentists, plant managers, construction workers, preschool teachers, stay-at-home moms and more.

It is a sad sad state of affairs when people are RIDICULED for supporting their candidate...a candidate who won his primary over career politicians because he offers the hope of difference. He is a symptom. The symptom is disgust with the status quo.

I used to get audited year after year after year. Since I've retired and no longer make six figures, they've decided I'm not that interesting anymore.

The wetlands thing is real as are some of the other more onerous confiscatory practices we've seen recently. The truly sad thing is that defending yourself from those agencies can cost a small fortune, and there's no guarantee of a positive outcome or possibility of any recovery.

Most people do not dislike Hispanics at all. We are sick of the government not enforcing laws that the rest of us have to follow in order to try and pander to people.

The job of the president is to fully and faithfully uphold he laws of the land. That includes the laws they don't like.

If I break the law I get fined or go to jail. If a special interest group breaks the law they get a pass.
Where is the equal protection?

No she is largely incorrect, but playing the demonize game card which is typical.
She is the last person that gets to demonize anyone.

I would agree that Hillary is the lesser of the two evils but not enough lesser that it would break my heart to see her lose.

Whereas, I find the idea of a Hillary being president just defiant of everything logical, I think a Trump win would be devastation.

We are better off with 4 more years of the same ol', same ol' than having to risk such a mental case like Trump sitting in the oval office. I am simply not ready to destroy our nation just so we can re-build it back up from scratch. That is what I fear would happen with an orange Kim Jung Il, (with an equally bad haircut,) holding the highest office in our land.

Why do you support people who break the laws of our country?
It isn't about hate. That is what liberals don't get.

The law says that unless you have permission from the government to be here then you must return to your own country.
You are not allowed to enter.

Mexico has harsher laws and enforces them without question.
Illegally trying o get into Mexico once gets you deported.
Trying again he's you a 3-5 year jail sentence.

So if a country like Mexico can enforce theirs other than pandering why can't we support ours?

A majority of people on this site probably agree with her! After all, only "deplorable people" disagree with corruption! LOL

But... it is a sign of desperation. Matt Lauer really got inside her head when he broke protocol and asked her un-vetted questions. Hillary has officially gone around the bend...

that was an extremely stupid thing for her to say, as it will be used against her like Romney's 47% remark. it scares me how poor of a candidate she is. she's our only real defense against a Trump presidency.

I am starting to wonder about that.

The guy shoots himself in the foot. He sticks his foot in his mouth. He bumbles. He fumbles. He's his own worst enemy. Yet, despite all of that, Hillary still can't pull away from him because she is equally as terrible. If he walks away from the debates without any serious damage he will win. Mark my words.

Why not E-mail her and recommend that she juice up the statement? In fact, I hope she juices it up on her own. If that is the best she can do in regards to public statements, her ship is sinking....
