While Trump executes the perfect head fake alleging Clinton corruption, he is taking money from his political donors and putting it in his own pocket...

"In 2000 Donald Trump told Fortune magazine, “It’s very possible that I could be the first presidential candidate to run and make money on it.”

During this primary season, Donald Trump made a point of not taking outside donations, but now he is. Some of Trump’s campaign money is making its way back to the candidate himself, because unlike any other candidate in modern history, Trump is using his businesses for his campaign."

"....But the Republican nominee has offset some of that by pouring $7.2 million dollars -- just over eight percent of the money his campaign has spent through July -- into his own businesses...."

So what's WRONG with that? If his campaign can patronize his own businesses, the most I can muster is, "So??"

I think the point is - he has one (1!) office in the swing state of Florida. His campaign doesn't seem interested in actually winning, it seems interested in paying inflated prices to Trump businesses for everything.

OMG, you've got him! You posted this as a joke, right? He's running against one of the most corrupt people ever to run, and this what you've got? LOL! Let us know when the FBI concludes it's investigation. Haha!

Maybe after he's elected and he gets up and running, he can open a Play For Pay Organization and move into the old Clinton Offices. Where they're going, they won't need them anymore.

When Trump wins I want him to move all White House operations to Trump establishments. The CIA operating out of Trump Tower. The FBI out of Trump Vegas. It's actually quite exciting.

Re: Trump once stated he could be first guy to run for President and make money at it

OH JESUS CHRIST ARE YOU LUNATICS GOING TO HOLD EVERYONE ACCOUNTABLE TO EVERY SINGLE THING THEY EVER SAY?????

True Story: I've actually said "I wish I could kill [insert victim's name here]. In fact, I've said it lots of times. Wanna know how many people I've killed? Zero.
True Story: I once said "I'll never get drunk." Said it when I was seven. Forty years later, I can say I've gotten drunk hundreds of times.

People say stupid stuff. People make off-the-cuff remarks. People tend to put their feet in their mouths every now and then. Good God you people are petty.

If it weren't for Trump, we wouldn't be staring down the barrel of a Second Clinton Presidency.

What's wrong about it is that he has business venues but he overcharges his own campaign where if he used a different location, or just i dunno didn't raise prices obscenely high. He wouldn't have to spend nearly 2/3rds of what he does charge!!!! In fact, an honorable person would just let his campaign work in his businesses for FREE! That would free up a lot of useless spending. I fear what he would add to the debt of our country with those types of practices.

The argument that Trump is only using it for good business doesn't fly. In fact it's crony capitalism at its finest.

Trump may be running against one of the most corrupt, but it appears Hillary is a lightweight to Trump in the corruption department.

The Most Corrupt Candidate Ever Is Donald Trump

No question that the Trump campaign has run a brilliant head fake. While too many people have been convinced that Hillary is corrupt, no one is paying attention to the fact that the Donald's hands are in the till...

BTW. I don't joke. I have no sense of humor.

No doubt he's profiting handsomely, but he's far from being the first or only one:

Ben Carson fashions himself a political novice, but he’s an expert at one crucial political skill: cashing in on public exposure.

Carson, perhaps more than any other presidential candidate, is profiting handsomely from the fame he has gained as a popular upstart contender for the Republican nomination. And unlike most candidates who put their business interests on hold while campaigning, Carson has continued to earn lavish speaking fees as a candidate, while also raking in book royalties and income from other sources.

Right behind Carson in the presidential windfall sweepstakes is Donald Trump, whose new book, "Crippled America," has sold more than 50,000 copies in less than one month, according to Nielsen Bookscan and other sources. Mike Huckabee, Ted Cruz and Rand Paul have also penned timely books that are selling well as they ride the coattails of the campaign.

I think people's math is just a bit off. Don't you?

"Mr. Trump continues to contribute his own money to the campaign, including $2 million dollars on this report which more than accounts for things like rent at his own properties, which he is required to pay according to FEC laws. To date he has contributed over $60 million dollars to fund his campaign and to say he has profited in any way is totally and completely false,” campaign spokesperson Hope Hicks said.[/QUOTE]

Only if the Republican Party can get its act together in 2020. I'm not betting on that, not after this election and the previous one.

Yes but why raise prices? Why feed your businesses money from donor's pockets when just having your name out there should be enough. As I said an honest man would let those operations run free since he already owns those businesses. He is indeed profiting off this election. You can make excuses all you want. Your $2 million is nothing compared to what he has actually done about the price INCREASES. Why does he feel the need increase prices for campaign use only?? Makes no sense unless if he is pocketing the money himself. That should be very concerning to donors of the populist candidate.
