Trump pays IRS a penalty for his foundation violating rules with gift to Florida ag

Re: Trump pays IRS a penalty for his foundation violating rules with gift to Florida

Bondi announced she was considering filing for Florida to join the fraud case against Trump then personally solicited a donation from him. A check for $25,000 was cut by Trump's family charity foundation four days later and Bondi announced that Florida would not join the lawsuit after the check had been received by a political action committee backing her campaign. The optics are that this was a bribe solicited by Bondi.

Optics are not proof.

Hillary supporters tell us that every day.

It is sufficient evidence to launch a criminal investigation of Bondi and Trump at the very least. Hillary was subjected to years of congressional inquiry and DOJ and FBI investigations for much less.

Re: Trump pays IRS a penalty for his foundation violating rules with gift to Florida

The relevant part for me is this.

The attorney general receives a donation from a foundation belonging to Donald trump, who operated trump university, which was the subject of a potential investigation by the Florida attorney general.

The Florida attorney general chooses not to pursue the allegations of fraud.

Coincidence? Or pay for play?

It is corruption.. bribery and very much criminal.

So when is Hillary going to get her comeuppance?

She's not. It's all part of the same problem. Hell, as bad as what Trump did was, it isn't as bad as the politicians who accept the money. Trump wasn't a public servant when he did that the AG was.
