North Korea has fired its first submarine-launched ballistic missile, according to reports from South Korea

The launch is the latest in a series of tests - this missile was fired in April

And the slide down the slippery slope continues.

At one time, experts used to speak with concern about the potential emergence of "nuclear blackmail" from rogue states. That such phrases are no longer part of the lexicon of analysts and commentators is an ominous indication that those are no longer hypothetical scenarios - we're actually living in that world today - a brave new world.

I don't think THAAD can protect against ballistic missiles or cruise missiles launched from submarines.

I think the North Koreans have been getting a lot of help under the table from the Chinese.

What do you expect when we have a clueless President that has made America into a laughing stock across the world. No one respects us any longer.

Think Pakistan and maybe Iran during sanctions. China is probably making it financially possible but a nuke Korea is not in their LT interests.

Yes because this is all Obama's fault. :lamo

Such an active fantasy life.

What did Obama have to do with this? Please be very specific.

He's been our President for a while at this point. International relations as well as the rise of this behavior only goes to show that he has no real control or influence in the world.

North Korea is a JV league nuclear communist dictatorship.

Pakistan is ahead on the actual nukes, and they gave that help to the NoKos, but the NoKos are ahead on the missiles, and they've given that help to the Pakistanis.

So in other words - expect submarine launched ballistic missiles to suddenly start showing up in the Pakistani fleet sooner or later.

Given that India has them expect them sooner than later.

Actually, I would lie most of the blame at Clinton the Elder's feet.

On Oct. 21, 1994, President Bill Clinton announced the “Agreed Framework,” a deal negotiated with North Korea to end their pursuit of a nuclear weapon from the exact spot in the White House where President Obama announced his deal with Iran.

“Before I take your questions, I’d like to say just a word about the framework with North Korea that Ambassador Gallucci signed this morning. This is a good deal for the United States,” Clinton said. “North Korea will freeze and then dismantle its nuclear program. South Korea and our other allies will be better protected. The entire world will be safer as we slow the spread of nuclear weapons.”

To suggest the US has control over what North Korea does is just plain ignorant.

The Midget Commie isn't getting the attention he wants, so he's throwing a hissy fit.

Lately, he's been threatening to nuke Seoul and DC. Possibly over the upcoming annual war games between SK and the US.

The day will come when those NoKo missile boats are lurking off America's shores.

Yes, I agree. While North Korea was bragging about developing nuclear weapons, George Bush invaded Iraq. Way to go W!

North Korea has plenty of reasons to mess with the US. They want to see what their nation looks like in glass. LOL.

Are you joking? Do you think President Romney or President McCain would have prevented North Korea testing weapons?
Hey, maybe President Trump will stop North Korea from testing weapons! Better days ahead!

You mean to stop it? He did nothing, of course!

And he would do this how? Just curious because no American President has been able to control NK since 1954.
