Not that Hillary defenders will care. Again - Hillary Clinton could murder a child on live national television, and her supporters would insist that - since she hadn't been convicted in a court of law - it didn't count.

A newly released trove of emails from Hillary Clinton’s top aide Huma Abedin shows she repeatedly did favors for high-dollar contributors to the Clinton Foundation — including a foreign national with a criminal record that made her nervous.

The request involving the foreign national came from Clinton Foundation donor Casey Wasserman — a sports and entertainment executive who contributed between $5 million and $10 million — to Bill Clinton’s top aide, Doug Band, asking for “help” on May 5, 2009...

The Abedin emails — released Monday by conservative watchdog Judicial Watch — reveal that the longtime Clinton aide apparently served as a conduit between Clinton Foundation donors and Hillary Clinton while Clinton served as secretary of state. In more than a dozen email exchanges, Abedin provided expedited, direct access to Clinton for donors who had contributed from $25,000 to $10 million to the Clinton Foundation...

Oh, and this little gem:

Meanwhile, the FBI has found thousands of documents Clinton failed to turn over to the State Department when she stepped down as secretary of state — ensuring more legal trouble for the Democratic presidential candidate and further mandatory disclosures. The FBI uncovered nearly 15,000 documents in its year-long investigation into Clinton’s private email server, the Washington Post reported.

More lies from Hillary. Turns out she didn't turn over all her emails, or all her work related emails. I wonder how many of these are classified.

You just don't trust her. :wink3:

It is amazing to me that this investigation has taken so long.

Why do people keep attacking the most qualified person in the history of all things????? Leave Hillary alone!

It is amazing to me that this investigation has taken so long.

Apparently State isn't going to be able to release the first batches of emails until.... October. So the first batch will be about ordering lunch, and other inanities, and then sometime over the Christmas holiday they will release a batch with Hillary Clinton ordering Huma to take classified briefings off of JWICS and email it to Hamas.... and anyone who complains will be "just more conspiracy theory mongering from the Republicans who can't believe they just lost an election, and this is such an old story, and old news, that they are trying to cling to, to divert from Trump being a mean old racist, and I wish we could start off fresh, with some bipartisan spirit and willingness to work together...."

 It's amazing to me how far the people are willing to degrade themselves to protect the Clintons.

What's amazing to me are two things, 1) there has been no independent prosecutor appointed, and 2) that the evidence has not even been put before a Grand Jury to determine if charges should even be brought, which would have already happened (IMHO) if an independent prosecutor had been in charge of the investigation.

Obviously, cpwill, you just haven't had this voxsplained to you properly.

None of them can be classified. She would not do that.

..... I kinda think that your second question answers your first....

Whats amazing to me is the lack of investigative reporting by the media. Heck, when GWB was thought to have gone AWOL from national guard service, they managed to invent some documents. Here we have to rely on conservative non-profits to go get the evidence themselves.

It has to be a Republican in office for the media to do so, and the last time they did so was Reagan's Iran-Contra, and before that Nixon's Watergate (who they were able to take down, and rightfully so).

Senior Democrats, the Clintons especially and uniquely in many ways, get a pass by the media for some reason.

Not at all surprising. After all, this investigation has been stonewall, delayed, with results slow walked, by probably the most experienced experts in doing so, namely the Clinton legal team (probably on permanent retainer for exactly this purpose).

If there's one consistency in Hillary's history, besides the continual, habitual lying I mean, it would be the utter contempt for anyone she believes is beneath her, be they AZ state troopers or Secret Service or the common man, and her insatiable desire to avoid any and all accountability for any and all of her actions by them, and here I thought that accountability to the other branches of governmnet as well as the electorate was part and parcel of 'public service' (Just the sort of person you want to elect to POTRUS  )

This near constant drip, drip, drip, like she's some old clap trap or something.

Lest you forget that this is Obama's politicized DOJ and Obama's politicized FBI. Who's going to appoint a special prosecutor?

What I don't get is why anybody would "like" the original post.

Given that she's almost certainly going to be our next president, it's hard to understand why someone would be glad to see additional evidence that she's bought & paid for.

You know these are the emails that were talked about at the hearing in early July, right?

Just to you know, I didn't 'like' the OP until I read your post. :2razz:

The Ethics in Government Act reserves that authority to the AG, but, Congress can appoint a Special Investigator to do all the same functions, without the power to actually bring criminal charges, but to submit a report to Congress which they can use to bring pressure upon the AG.

But, it may be too late to do that. Congress screwed this up. As soon as the Benghazi Committee uncovered the existence of the private email server, they should have appointed a Special Investigator, who would have uncovered the same things the FBI uncovered, but may have come to a different conclusion, which would have forced the AG, BY LAW, to appoint what is now called an Independent Counsel.

That all can still be done, but it wouldn't be completed before Clinton is elected President, and then we as a country would have a major fight on our hands over possible impeachment of a sitting President (Hillary) and possible prosecution of a former President (Bill), which would tear this country apart.

You do realize, that in the very next post after the one above, you post a link to an article that's entitled: "New emails show Clinton aide setting up meeting with major foundation donor" :doh
