Welp, good luck to Mr. Manafort. Hopefully he'll find employment somewhere in the world again. It is a shame Trump was fine with his resignation. It seems plagiarism is not as bad a crime as not being guilty of anything yet. Well, this isn't a net gain for Trump, that's for sure.

Prosecution by press is the current standard. Not just persecution, but prosecution. No need for evidence, or at least if you're not on their side there isn't. If you are on their side, then they ignore evidence, facts, and even work to ignore your own people's words as in $400M held in the plane until the hostages were on their plane - aka, a ransom payment swap.

If Manafort has actually done what he's accused of doing, then there's a problem. I don't think it's a legal problem, but it damn sure is a problem regarding patriotism and loyalty to this country. Not to the level of treason, but close enough.

But, as I said - IF. And that's a big IF.

Wow! Now this is really funny. Ukraine can't even investigate its' real problems, but they. the government of the USA coup d'etat can find a partisan witch hunt to help their ol' coup buddies. The smell of fish is probably just a coinky-dink, eh?

What's sad is now people are arguing over whose political connections to the Kremlin are worse: Hillary's or Trump's.
We no longer have elections in the Incorporated States of Democracy.
We have a campaign-finance system (with 100% chance of being rigged in one way or another).

I read a little while ago that he resigned. I have no idea which is accurate.

I do know one thing though, there's no actual evidence that he's done anything illegal or even immoral or unethical. Just a hell of a lot of speculation and assumptions by people that have a lot to gain by doing so.

I actually don't like the guy. He seems slimy to me, a snake oil salesman type. But, that's just my personal opinion. I do, however, get pretty pissed off when people accuse others of illegal, unpatriotic, treasonous, unethical, or immoral activity with no more evidence than someone saw a name on a ledger written in pencil with no actual canceled checks or cash transfer documents such as confirmation of wired funds, etc.

Being a slimy asshole is not enough for me to condemn or accuse the guy of what the press and Democrats are doing without actual direct evidence.
