Three campaign managers in a row?? Who saw this coming raise their hand? Trump is like the mob boss who can't be controlled.

Trump on Friday announced that campaign Chairman Paul Manafort had resigned, two days after the Republican nominee put in place a new leadership structure that appeared to minimize Manafort’s role.

Still less than the number of bankruptcies he's had.

My understanding is that Manafort will still be working with the Trump campaign. He doesn't swim with the fishes.

Putin will insist on this...........

Putin will insist on this...........

I understand Putin is instructing his troops on how to get NATO fighters to surrender. We'll need that reset button soon. Maybe it'll really work this time.

this is news, yet obama's 1.5 billion ransom payment to iran isnt?

Are we going to see a newer, gentler Trump?

Manafort was actually one of the smarter moves Trump ever made. Manafort has worked on many many many political campaigns in his career. I respect Kellyanne Conway a lot, but I think Trump may regret not fighting to keep Manafort in place. And I don't think the Ukraine thing was any big deal. It's not like nobody knew he worked in the Ukraine. I suspect though his "resignation" was probably intended so that Trump can go after Clinton Foundation foreign ties.

educate yourself it was

1) their money and only $440M
2) we saved billions in interest
3) we got our citizens home not one hostage family has anything bad to say about that

Heh, Commandanté Rico is presenting Comrade Putin's battle plan, is he?

If I were trying to bring down the United States, I would simply make use of America's highly vulnerable Southern border to send in as many terrorists and narcotics as possible.

Actually, that will inevitably happen, regardless of Putin - unless a Wall is built.

Commie thugs build walls to trap populations and keep them in.
Anti-Commies build walls to keep thugs and predators out.

Which side are you on?

"Only $440M"

Not one American family of a dead serviceman killed by Iranian attacks inside Iraq has been compensated.

Trump will at least look after military families, unlike the Dems who simply want to use their name or pretend to be patriotic against Russia just to bail out their party politically.

To be fair we were occupying a client state of theirs and trying to kill them. The US hasn't paid a dime to the families of children and civilians of Iraqi's we murdered. Id say both sides are even..

Manafort's main benefit to the campaign was in helping to win the Republican nomination. Now that that part's over, his value to the campaign is less. Now going into the home stretch, it's a full-on no-holds-barred bare-knuckled fight.

After this is over, crooked Hillary will know she's been in a fight.

Notice that crooked Hillary is now promising to radically curtail her precious Clinton Foundation activities - particularly acceptance of foreign donations - courtesy of Trump's constant pressure on these dubious practices. If her racket was so saintly, then why is she curtailing it? She knows it wasn't aboveboard - her latest actions are an admission of guilt.

She's only promising to curtail IF ELECTED though. Otherwise, she'll be happy to take those Saudi donations - because they help pay for her expensive lifestyle.

I, for one, am very glad to see a full-on Trump campaign push everything to the max, in taking on Clinton.

If and when this succeeds, it will have truly effected a major change in American politics. The US political landscape will be changed forever. This won't be some mere superficial change of the head honcho - it will be a fundamental change that renews American democracy and saves it from corruption. That's why the outsider Trump is so badly needed at this crucial time - like Eisenhower.

GO TRUMP!

My name is Vladimir Putin and I approve this message......

He has Roger Ailes now advising him, and importantly Trump is listening. Clinton has a fight on her hands. If Trump keeps on track like he is currently, come the debates he will have the opportunity to put her away. Its interesting how Trump is being refined right now.

Iraq has been some traditional client state of Iran's? Based on what history?

Was that the famous 1980s period, when "Iranian client" Saddam Hussein fought a war with them?
Or was it the following 1990s period, when they just had a grudging coexistence?

Commandante Rico - I hope the unionized school districts are functioning where you are, because they don't seem to have provided a strong background on world history.

Ailes brings an altogether different problem with him. The cloud of suspicion over the charges his former employees have made against him won't help Trump. Also Ailes isn't the political mind that Manafort is.

Manafort was worth a thousand Ailes and Bannons.

Shared religion. Our buddy Hussein who gassed Iranian's with our support was a member of a very small minority sect called Sunni's and a political party who (in addition to numerous other bad deeds) after Gulf war 1 murdered several hundred thousand pro Iran ****es......

To be fair to you my knowledge of world history doesn't include citations from stormfront

None of this fact-dropping amounts to Iraq being some longstanding client state or Iran's backyard - quite the opposite, Commandante. Syria has a longer client relationship with Iran than Iraq does.

I think the knowledge displayed amounts to "fact salad" - just throw in some facts, regardless of whether they make your case or not.

I'm Asian, Commandante - not everybody comes from your Stormfront fantasy - or is it mainly a Putin fantasy - hard to tell which fantasy is being peddled first - it's like a patchwork dream.

Yes he is refining his image and im sure roger and kelly are both instrumental in it but this is something he has been doing from day 1.

Like him or hate him there is no denying that he is a cunning leader of people. I once said if he got elected he would be ineffective because both parties will oppose him every step of the way. My opinion is starting to change.

He has a good timing when it comes to identifing something isnt working and has a decent feel of making smart changes. I think this is something we are not use to seeing in the political world. He is bringing his business savy to the table.

When it was the primary field of 16 he had 1 tactic and as the field widdled down and it was time to refine his message he installed a new manager who was better suited to execute the new tactic. Now he is facing the general election audience and he has once again changed managers to execute his new approach.

If he brings that mentality to washington for the next 8 years i think that might be a healthy infusion of practicle thinking. Im still undecided but i have to say trump is proving to me that he isnt the clown many would like us to believe he is. He may turn out to be one of the most qualified leaders we have ever had

you could stop trolling this topic with that off-topic. just a suggestion. you can even make your very own thread. it's amazing.

Three campaign managers in a row??

Even with Manafortovo gone, there remains at least 3 more top Trump aides with seamy political/business ties to Russia

Trump isn't a "cunning leader of people". He's a master manipulator of the clueless, like many other Democrats are.
