No, the FBI concluded that no SoS was ever prosecuted for having classified data on a private email server - there was no prosecution precedent, not that there was no crime.

In one exchange days before, on Aug. 24, Powell appears to suggest that he made a compromise of sorts with Mills regarding his public comments on the email issue.

“I told you we wouldn’t say any more,” Powell told Mills.

But he added that he was forced to continue discussing the issue after his assistant, Peggy Cifrino, became embroiled in an argument with Conason over his claim that Powell advised Clinton to use personal email at the 2009 dinner party.

In an Aug. 19 email, Powell told his correspondent that he tried to “warn [Clinton’s] people three times.”

“I will send an even tougher counterattack from a Trump media friend,” he added.

but those email leaks now have changed all of this .. james carville is out speaking how powell is lying and most likely all those sec of states at that party will also show powell did indeed speak of about this at the party... who heard them?? madeline albright.... condy rice and others?? powell is threatening all of them if they do not keep this quite... even threatening to go to the one he called a national disgrace in order to help obama and hillary TRUMP...

who would win this all out fight between those 3??? i think powell will be on obama's side and obama on powells side because obama must have asked sec of state powell if its good to pick hillary as sec of state and he must have said yes..... only reason he would say yes knowing how corrupt she is....... is because they themselves are wanting to do a lot of corruption
