Trump: Sometimes you say the wrong thing

No. It's more like, "Trump is telling me what I want to hear." Perception is reality. Truth, or "telling it like it REALLY is," has nothing to do with anything these days.

I think it is very revealing and it says a lot about a person's character, as to what they "want to hear." Anyone that is outside looking in can see these people coming from a mile away.

Greetings to you polgara. You have a solid point there. Nothing wrong with saying you were wrong. It will be interesting to see if this gets Trump praise - if he then makes it a regular part of his campaign schtick.

I have no problem with anyone speaking out for those who are ignored. I do have a problem with somebody who has never shown any concern for that group, has exploited that group, has advocated policies against that group, and now at this late date suddenly claims to be their champion when it is obvious it is only to use them yet again.
 
So last night was the debut of the new and improved Trump after Kellyanne Conway longtime Republican pollster was promoted to manager. She's very good at what she does and is directing Trump to soften the things that he does that makes so many people despise him. I'm afraid it is a little too late. He has lost or never had a good swath of the Republican/Independent voters as they are now seeking alternatives. You can see that in the overwhelming support McMullin is getting in just 10 days since announcing his run for president. People are so hungry for a third choice. It is also why you see an increase in interest for Gary Johnson.

In his speech he lied when he said he was not beholden to any special interests lobbyists. The NRA are collecting money for him and so is the super pac Conservative Majority Fund which is a joke. They claim they raise money to get conservatives elected. If you go to their web page they are cheerleaders for Trump. Trump is no conservative. He is a Nationalist Populist.

One of many unfortunate things this election is the hijacking of the term Conservative and the bastardization of the definition of Conservatism.

It's not who she killed, although there is proof on FOX News that she had Abraham Lincoln whacked. She made baby Jesus cry by stealing all the Magi gifts from his crib in the manger. It is said that, at that time, she tried having baby Jesus whacked, but even her boss Satan said that was going to far. :mrgreen:
 
Yea, he'll derail soon enough. Not that it matters, as he produced a wealth of materials enough to keep the Clinton campaign going for months.

Being a manager with executive experience is something that neither Obama or Hillary had or have yet those qualities are ignored. Trump has both management and executive experience. He actually dealt with a budget, dealt with hiring and firing people, dealt with negotiations but the fact that he isn't a politician carries a lot of weight among people who say they want change but then when presented with change reject it

I must have missed the lies that actually cost people their lives or destroyed the national security that we once had. Your double standard is noted. I will be voting for Trump because he is the better alternative to Hillary. He wasn't my choice but she is the least qualified individual to hold the office right behind Obama.

Whatever Trump is doesn't matter as he is a better alternative to the habitual liar Hillary as he has never been involved in so many deaths, been so incompetent in any of his ventures none of which cost the taxpayers anything. Hillary is the most incompetent individual besides Obama to run for the office. Many made the mistake of electing and re-electing Obama(4 million less in 2012) and are about to make that same mistake over again. You want change? Socialists want Hillary, Progressives want Hillary all because she will feed their appetite for bigger and more intrusive govt.

What does Hillary have to do with Trump's inability to say he is sorry? Absolutely nothing! What she has done does not exonerate him or vice versa. I don't hold Trump responsible for her shortcomings so why would I hold Hillary responsible for his?

Then what is the purpose of this thread other than another demonize Trump thread to divert from Hillary? We have two viable choices with the opportunity to win in November, Hillary or Trump and all threads like this do is divert from that reality. Trump has said a lot of non PC things but continues to have the leadership, management, and executive skills that Hillary can only dream about. Why is this so important to you and others on this thread?

How is cheating small businesses and their employees out of money leadership, management, executive skills? I know a great many business owners...successful business owners who did not have to cheat small businesses out of a paycheck to be successful.....and while these people I know are extremely successful in business it doesn't mean I think they would be make great presidents. Also...why doesn't he show us his taxes if he is so successful? Because his taxes would show us his worth is only in his over inflated brand/name not in his business dealings/bank accounts. If it wasn't for reality TV he would be nothing more than a has-been today.

Cheating small businesses? What leftwing site did you get that from? The choice we have is Hillary or Trump, Trump has my support and regardless of the failures you want to blame on Trump they pale in comparison to what Obama and the left call the most qualified in the campaign. Trump created jobs and made his money in the private sector and obviously is guilty until proven innocent in your world. Hillary is a habitual liar that it doesn't matter what she does or how bad it is, nothing sticks.

What makes me mad is that people like you want change, are given the opportunity to have change and let the establishment candidate win. You don't like Trump, he wasn't my choice but he was given that right to be the candidate by millions of votes. Threads like this are nothing more than anti Trump threads to continue to raise doubts. As stated, he wasn't my choice but he will be in November. This country cannot afford more of Hillary and you ought to know that. With Trump you may not like him but there is hope for real change.
