Re: Transgender Bathroom Access to Extend to All Federal Buildings

The OP has a link to a story regarding this Texas ruling.

No I don't my link is about federal buildings extension.
First link is the main story then the second link is a local link about my home.

The school issue is handled in other threads and like the poster said the challenges to them aren't new. federal buildings aren't affected by this.

Not your backup link in the OP, an embedded link in your first link in the OP....

No but it makes sense to pass anti discrimination laws for characteristics that are not optional for the individual involved. Optional characteristics shouldn't be protected simply because they are chosen, not inherited.

So, religion shouldn't be protected since it is chosen?

LMAO an embedded link? would you like to talk about what causes hiccups? there's a link to that i see too on that page.;)
Like i said the OP is about the federal extension, the school issue is not this topic nor does it impact it.

Yes but it is protected from government intervention in the constitution. It should not be protected when government is not involved.

It kills me when people who lie and oppress the LGBTQ community try to act like they are defending them. But they only spread lies about them.

Ummm...what? A MTF is still biologically male, while a FTM is still biologically female. Transgenders do not actually change their sex. If they wanted to change the policy based on some rejection of discrimination they should have done it in a way that stands up to scientific evaluation. As it stands this just ends up looking ignorant because the government ignored science to apply it under sex.

Let's see if I can explain this to a conservative. Since you want to talk about science let's talk science. Biologically speaking males and females have the same process for excavating waste so there is no biological reason for separating our restrooms. Nevertheless we do and if the reason isn't biological then the next obvious reason is that we do so for sociological reasons. Sociology isn't the domain of sex, it's the domain of gender, which is why arguing for restroom divisions to be based on sex are so specious. If biology was your concern then you'd be arguing for unisex restrooms since biologically speaking there are no need for separate facilities.

Henrin does not represent conservatives. He was banned long ago and it was celebrated by all.

It was the on the first page. Didn't read much further than that but his argument doesnt seem all that dissimilar from the conservative one.

It might be similar, but he was no conservative. Easily a top ten most despised member ever.
