Tulsa man killed by neighbor who called him 'dirty Arab' - CNN.com
CNN)For years, the Jabara family says, their neighbor terrorized them.

He called them names -- "dirty Arabs," "filthy Lebanese," they said.
He hurled racial epithets at those who came to work on their lawns, they alleged.
He ran Haifa Jabara over with his car and went to court for it.
And it all came to a head last week when the man, Stanley Vernon Majors, walked up to the front steps of the family home and shot and killed Khalid Jabara, police said.
"The frustration that we continue to see anti-Muslim, anti-Arab, xenophobic rhetoric and hate speech has unfortunately led up to a tragedy like this," said the Council on American-Islamic Relations.
This is totally heartbreaking, so many things wrong with this.

Well I hope that guy finds himself in jail for life.

How terrible. I don't understand why some people are so full of irrational hatred for others.

Because, while individually we may be very intelligent and capable unparalleled sympathy and empathy, at heart we are apes. And aggregately we act as apes. Some of us, individually, behave as apes. It's a bit of a sad statement towards the state of humanity. Given all the ability to think and be reasonable and logical, but more oft then not we turn our back to that in order to respond primitively and emotionally.

This murderer is clearly angry white trash, I'm boggled by the fact that the judge let him out.

This is horrible. Sounds like the man hated all races, and these people were unlucky enough to have to live beside him. I hope the family can now find peace, and that their suffering ends.

On a side note, why would CNN report this as anything other than a dirty hateful racist murdering scumbag, rather than getting CAIR involved to try to turn it into anti-Muslim, anti-Arab, xenophobia, when the neighbors of this man said (and CNN even reported) that he "hurled racial epithets at those who came to work on their lawns, ..." and I doubt that all those folks were Arabs?

This story is awful enough, without the press trying to turn it into something it isn't.

I hope the murdered man can rest in peace. I hope his family can find peace. I hope the entire neighborhood can now live in peace. And, I hope that the hateful evil person that did this, finds no peace at all in this life or the next, and that he is imprisoned and tormented each and every minute of each and every hour of what remains of his miserable existence.

CAIR is a front group of the Muslim Brotherhood. Leftists, who share Islamists' loathing of this country, never tire of sucking up to it and other similar Islamist propaganda organizations. Let them. For my part, I do not care a damn what anyone from CAIR thinks about anything.

This might be crappy on my part, but seeing as this is a political discussion board - I suspect I know which Presidential candidate he preferred.

I think it's the one that starts with a T and rhymes with dump.

People, especially the erratically violent, are not one dimensional. Many people quickly pigeon holed this person who murdered three moslems in their home as a far right Christian fundamentalist:The Story of a Hate Crime - The New Yorker

It turned out that he was not only an avowed atheist of the non tolerant sort, but his social media accounts strongly suggested that he supported Barak Obama.

Fair enough, there.

And honestly, my comment was probably better left unsaid.

Now I wouldn't say Trump has a lock on the anti-Muslim crowd, but he does seem to have a big chunk of the market.
