Secret Ledger in Ukraine Lists Cash for Donald Trump’s Campaign Chief

Absolutely.

Whether Hillary's foundation, or Trump's Manfort/Yanukovich/Putin connection, citizens vote in the court of public opinion.

If you think these are innocent alliances, then we obviously differ.
Can you show that Trump knew about Manfort's other activities?

Deposed Ukrainian president Viktor Yanukovych (wanted by Interpol) is only one of Paul Manafort's shady eastern business partners...

Manafort was once a business partner of Russian oligarch Oleg Deripaska who is banned from entering the United States due to his crime activities and ties to the Russian mob. Deripaska is currently suing Manafort (fraud) in the Cayman Islands.

Manafort also partnered with Ukrainian oligarch Dmytro Firtash who made his fortune in deals with Russia’s Gazprom state-owned energy company. The US is seeking the extradition of Firtash from Austria after a grand jury in Chicago indicted him for bribery and masterminding an international titanium-mining racket. According to a lawsuit filed by former Ukraine Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko, Manafort gave Firtash the opportunity (via front companies) to expand the scope of his money laundering activities into the United States.

According to the Tymoshenko lawsuit, Manafort was also financially involved with Semion Mogilevich, a Ukrainian national deeply involved in Russian organized crime. According to the FBI, Mogilevich is “involved in weapons trafficking, contract murders, extortion, drug trafficking, and prostitution on an international scale.”

I know of Democrats, Independents and Republicans who all have deep concerns over both Trump and Clinton with good reason.

Clinton is now being investigated by the FBI on MULTIPLE corruption charges involving the Clinton Foundation.

Since it has been revealed that Russian agencies have been hacking into the DNC and using Assange/WikiLeaks to dump documents, it is raising red flags across party affiliations over the number of aides/advisers Trump has surrounded himself with in his campaign with Russian ties.

It's time Trump be investigated/vetted.
It doesn't start and end with Manafort and his dealings with getting a pro-Putin president elected in Ukraine. Manafort's partner Rick Gates was involved as well and is also working on the Trump campaign.
Carter Page, foreign affairs adviser to Trump, just days before Republicans changed their party platform softening its stance toward Putin in regard to the Ukraine, visited Moscow in to deliver speeches criticizing decades of U.S. foreign policy. Ain't that special. Page is also heavily invested in Putin's state run gas company Gazprom. Now Trump was asked by the media about the Republicans softening their stance with Russia and Trump said he didn't have anything to do with it but Carter Page did.
Richard Burt is a very wealthy investment banker with big ties to Russia's state run bank. He writes speeches for Trump.
Retired Lt. General Michael Flynn who was being tossed around as a possible VP candidate and reported he was advising the Trump campaign on foreign affairs has ties to Russia. He was video taped at the end of last year at a banquet for Russia's state run English speaking network called Russia Today. He was sitting at Putin's table. Flynn is a frequent guest on Russia Today. I have seen clips from Russia Today that clearly show real cheerleading going on for Donald Trump.

And then there's the statement Donald Trump Jr. made a couple of years ago that the Trump Corporation was seeing lots of money coming in from Russian investors. And if that's not enough yesterday we learned that Ivanka Trump and her husband a good friends with Putin's girlfriend Wendi Deng who happened to be formerly married to Rupert Murdock. Ivanka and hubby are taking a break from the campaign trail and vacationing with Wendi Deng.

I don't know about the rest of you but that's enough happy horse poop right there that Reince Priebus/RNC and the crony capitalist lovin Republican leadership in Congress should be insisting Donald Trump release his Tax information immediately.

Forget the left leaning media asking for it, the REPUBLICANS should be demanding it!

Exactly!....why are they not demanding it? Why are they so quick to back Trump? I get the dislike and yes..even hate towards Clinton....but what I don't get is the blind trust they seem to be placing on Trump.

You know, we seem to be having a disconnect here (and elsewhere, as well).

Do you have a point, you'd care to make?

You're incessant one liner questions without any input, insight, or effort on your part, are making for a very one sided conversation.

To be honest, when insight or input is included, its not much better.

you answered the question: did he take a loan?

The question I asked was: "Why would he take a loan?

You would not find the answer in his tax returns, which you have no right to see.
. Damn straight - the entire Trump campaign is hiding all financials just because of **** like this.

AP Sources: Manafort tied to undisclosed foreign lobbying

Aug 17, 2016

WASHINGTON (AP) - Donald Trump's campaign chairman helped a pro-Russian governing party in Ukraine secretly route at least $2.2 million in payments to two prominent Washington lobbying firms in 2012, and did so in a way that effectively obscured the foreign political party's efforts to influence U.S. policy. The revelation, provided to The Associated Press by people directly knowledgeable about the effort, comes at a time when Trump has faced criticism for his friendly overtures to Russian President Vladimir Putin. It also casts new light on the business practices of campaign chairman Paul Manafort. Under federal law, U.S. lobbyists must declare publicly if they represent foreign leaders or their political parties and provide detailed reports about their actions to the Justice Department. A violation is a felony and can result in up to five years in prison and a fine of up to $250,000.

Employees for the Podesta Group Inc. and Mercury LLC at the time felt that the Manafort/Gates account could very well be a violation of the the U.S. Foreign Agents Registration Act (FARA). Their fears and complaints were dismissed by the heads of both lobbying firms. The nonprofit European Centre for a Modern Ukraine was, basically, a front organization for Ukraine president Viktor Yanukovych and his Party of Regions political party. Manafort and Gates certainly knew this. Along with other items, the Podesta and Mercury firms were tasked with lobbying the US government/Congress to cease US efforts to release one of Yanukovych's political rivals (Yulia Tymoshenko) from prison.

Note: Tymoshenko was released from prison the day after Yanukovych fled from Ukraine (2/22/2014) to the protection of Russia where he remains to this day despite an Interpol warrant for his arrest and extradition.
