99 shot in one week, 24 dead

The laws about the sale and use of firearms are not at issue here. An epidemic of dead children is the topic as I understand it.

Chicago is not different from the bad towns of the Old West. Sooner or later, a real man had to come in and clean up the mess. Obama is a Chicagoan. One would think he would be interested in saving young black lives. We find that not to be true. What is true is that it takes real men to solve real problems. Emanuels response was, "Never let a crisis go to waste." By extension, Obama said the same thing. They then tried to blame the crises on law abiding citizens. They are cowards. In direct contrast to their feckless and failed policies, we can introduce Rudy Giuliani. Where Emanuel and Obama have not been able to clean up one small section of one city, Giuliani cleaned up New York City.

Here's the key, but missing ingredient. Giuliani is a LEADER. Emanuel and Obama are punks. Their failures are the explanation for the horrors of a place like Chicago.

If we are going to have an honest conversation about black on black crime in major cities, it will help to avoid the tendency to hide behind mountains of miscellany, and instead attack the problems with courage, strength, and honor.

EXACTLY.. but we have trollers who come here just to argue.. even minor points and just wasting time
