I agree with everything you posted, but I don't think it's anything but dishonest that Hillary was taking money to benefit herself and her family, and only them! We, who pay her damn salary, were never a part of her thinking! :thumbdown: I wonder how many more millions it's going to take to make her happy! :2mad:

Well, there is at least consistency in the lies.

If he was not making funny about the prospect of a second amendment advocate shooting Hillary Clinton, what exactly was it? Musing about the founding fathers?

Trump's entire campaign has been one of throwing out shocking statements, like "Punch him out, I'll pay the legal costs" which has NO ambiguity in it, and then after the fact the loud mouthed coward sends out a flack to add some incomprehensible explanation.

I hate to tell you this, but its not the "vultures on the left" who are re-acting in horror, so is the rest of the entire world. Please pay attention as some of the most influencial right wing Republicans continue to throw the asshole under the bus.

I take what Patti Davis says with a grain of salt due to her relationship with him.

That being said....anyone that thinks that Ronald Regan would have stood behind Trump is severely mistaken.

He implied exactly what you think he implied. Was it inappropiate, maybe a little but not nearly to the degree that its being made out to be.

You guys are interupting it litterally because it feeds the anti trump agenda but in reality it was a figurative off the cuff tounge n cheek comment.

Trump has a crass personality. If somebody you liked had said it you would not be flipping your lid. You would laugh it off but because it was trump you pretend like its some kind of inexcusable autrosity of epic porportion.

Obama has not done that and trumps support is a direct result of the tone set by obama. Obama is a very intolerant leader and his supporters rallied around him at all costs and now your feeling one of the costs. Trump supporters have no interest in striking civil comoromise with uncompromising people.

The tone wasn't set by Obama. Both political parties have been responsible for the growing partisanship and divisiveness that we see everyday. Obama has been guilty of calling out republicans in his speeches, and republicans have been guilty of calling out Obama. This isn't a finger pointing game, but comparing Obama's tone to Trumps is absolutely ridiculous. Give me even one line of dialogue that Obama has used that is more divisive than what we see from Trump everyday.

In case anyone was going to ask Ronnie Reagan Jr's opinion of Trump and make it a topic of another God-awful Trump-bashing thread, Ronnie didn't like his father's politics, either.

I'm not claiming that I alone am the judge of whatever people say. I do not look to redefine what words people use. My point is that whatever subtle slights Obama has publicly used in a divisive way are not comparable to the language Trump has used. That is without over explaining a Trump or Obama quote with a page worth of what "they really meant".

I respect your explanation. I believe this is an honest, credible explanation. I wish more Trump supporters, and Trump himself, would acknowledge what you did here.

Gimme a break - Trump's verbal gaffes and the reaction by others in his party are small change compared to Hillary's ACTUAL CRIMINAL MISDEEDS which nobody in her party has the decency to call her out on.

Look at Hillary's goddamn influence-peddling racket, occurring right under everyone's noses, and nobody in the Democratic Party even has enough of a conscience to voice the slightest criticism against the empress.

You're the one tossing your panties at the Menudo star, not me. There's already a freshman senator in the Whitehouse screwing things up - there's no need to replace him with another. He lost fair and square - Trump beat him fair and square. They all signed pledges to support the nominee, while loudly daring Trump to do the same. Rubio is at least keeping his word, and I'll give him credit for that - which I won't give to you.
