No, that's the cartel. You're trying to say that if anyone who sells drugs is bad they're all bad. Explain to me how Joe on the corner peacefully selling herbs to people who want it is violence. You can't because you're trying to simplify a complex issue into a single category when in reality there's a thing called nuance. There is nothing inherently violent about selling drugs.

How is the guy driving the get away car just as guilty as the guy who pulls the trigger in a bank robbery?

Well, it depends who's looking down the barrel of that gun. From what I understand, one could be charged with conspiracy to murder, though drivers don't plan to kill.

Wait a minute, selling drugs isn't killing people. Oh yeah, and the Controlled Substances Act is over 40 years old. Look where that got us.

Uhh, because that guy was involved in the same, specific action that is the bank robbery.

Some dude in Ohio who grows weed in a field and sells it is not connected to a drug-related murder in Texas.
