Police get off from another shooting.

In war zones disguised as neighborhoods. Cops aren't hunting for black people. Cops just get edgy after seeing all the horror they see in these areas.

Edgy? That is a great excuse to kill innocent people.

Sorry your child was killed ma'am but officer Joe was edgy.

They have a right to defend themselves.

Shooting innocent unarmed people that are not threatening the cop in any way is not defending themselves...

No. It is a perfectly acceptable excuse to use after shooting innocent people...

Define innocent. Without video evidence, there is no way to prove innocence or guilt in this case. However, unless there is some personal reason for the cops to want to shoot the individual, it seems odd that they would do so. Killing a person is not an easy thing for most people and even cops and soldiers have a hard time living with having done so.

Don't point guns towards cops and then they will not shoot you.

Police indulging in another thrill kill and for their effort they get 2 weeks vacation time.

This is really going to conflict the right wingers. This guy is a in a demographic that they don't like to see messed with by police.

I think you meant to address that comment to the news media, not right wingers.

If there was a gunfight, both sides had to have been firing.

The article says that the dude exchanged fire with the cops.

A rancher in Idaho was called out (by police dispatch) to put down his Angus bull after it was involved in a car accident. He ended up getting shot to death by two deputies while his wife stood by.

A closer look at the Yantis shooting investigation | KTVB.COM

What the ****?

They claim the guy was invited to put down his bull, but he instead turned and shot at one of the cops - incidentally, the one who didn't turn on the cam? There's no motive on either side that I can see, but this cannot keep happening.

Mine was a general comment about when the person is innocent.

Actually where he lives is mostly conservative and libertarian. Not as much right wing. (which are too liberal)

Let's see, night time, deputies called to "man with a gun", cops arrive, man does not put down rifle: what could go wrong?

Yeah.. not what happened at all.

Deputies ON SCENE (car crash involving an angus bull and a car) Call goes to the rancher from the dispatch to COME SHOOT YOUR BULL.

Deputies try multiple times to kill the bull and only wound it because they don;t know where to put the shot. Rancher shows up with is bolt action rifle AS REQUESTED to put down the bull. Goes to do it.. and the policeman grabs him in the act and the other policeman begins firing at the rancher.

if "exchanged fire".. you mean that when he was yanked by the police officer when he was going to shoot his bull in in the head and finally kill it, the gun went off?

the bullet of his firearm was found on the pavement with his own blood on it.

It would be interesting to know if there was any history of problems between the rancher and the law.

again this is what happens when you pull a gun and shoot at police.
when will people friggen learn.

you point a gun at someone anyone and you can end up getting shot. stupid.

Except that's not what happened. He was pointing the gun at the bull lying at his feet (and he was ASKED by police dispatch to come and put down his bull) when he was yanked by a policeman and then he was shot.

again he had a gun pointed at something when the police pulled up.
that was pretty stupid.

they cannot read the minds of other people. it also depends on which way they were coming.
if it was on the road then the gun could have been pointed at them.

evidently shots were fired. this guy was dumb and unfortunately he paid for it like others do for being stupid.

Then again, we can also hope that it makes them acknowledge what the black community has been discussing for over 100 years: overuse of police force.

Go spend a few nights in the "hood" (black Community) and see what the cops have to deal with.

Then afterwards................... come back and let us all know how these azzholes act when a cop rolls up.

It's pretty bad when a older black couple cannot go out for a stroll at night in their own neighborhoods without fear of being assaulted by the very same thugs & hoodlums that your side seems to agonize over.

Rancher was called out by the officers and then dispatch called him. When he fired, the officers thought he fired at them.

Like I said, dark, guns, what could go wrong?

I'm from "the hood". How do you have time to post every day but not debate me?

No, you are not from the streets......because you would know what I say is true.

And..........as far as your nonsensical debate from me about firearms manufacturers preying on non gun owners?

You are a marketing guy who dresses up end caps in a few stores and you think you are a know it all on the subject on manufacturers preying on people?

Got news for ya Aristotle..............................most new gun owners come by word of mouth and association with gun owners............not manufacturers

No, you are not from the streets......because you would know what I say is true.

Lmao, no true Scottsman arguments before the second response? If I don't agree with your absurd point of view, then I can't be from where I say I grew up in? Are you even remotely serious about debating me?

And..........as far as your nonsensical debate from me about firearms manufacturers preying on non gun owners?

I set it up, you ducked, then continued posting. I don't even believe the excuse you used anymore when you still manage to rack up 20 posts a day.

No.........you are not from the hood-streets-barrio or any other fantasy place you claim.

And you are not honest either, as pointed out by others to me in messages/email.

We are done here.

No.........you are not from the hood-streets-barrio or any other fantasy place you claim.

Because I disagree with your weird perception that police brutality is justified because of what a small minority of black people do? No, sorry. You're simply wrong.

And you are not honest either, as pointed out by others to me in messages/email.

Admitting you got scared off by e-mails and messages from random people does not win you any points, sailor. :)
