Shootings reported at Florida nightclub

Why in the world would seventeen year olds want anything to do with twelve year olds? That event was stupid.

yeah my son, now 18 would often be out that late once he started driving. usually hanging out at a late closing BW3 with some of his school buddies-one of whom worked at the place

But that doesn't mean that other kids or parents are bad because they are allowed to stay out past 10, even past midnight. There is no magic curfew that guarantees some kid will definitely grow up to be good or not get into trouble. Nor does giving an exception to a curfew or not having one mean the person is guaranteed to get into trouble or not turn out right.

Well, my kids are kicking their kids' asses in life, so it's a bit more than an opinion.

You can't prove that your kids are kicking the asses of all kids who have ever been allowed to stay out late. I was allowed to stay out late. So was my husband and plenty of people I know who are very successful.

Agreed.

Our 4 children all have college educations, one has her masters.
They all own their own homes and have jobs that pay much better than most.
