Big mistake if his goal was to empower himself, which I think it was. But I think he understood that risk. I'm not a Cruz fan - but I appreciate him taking the risk to uphold his values. We need to stop thinking about "what's good for the party" and instead think about who best represents us. Trump doesn't represent Cruz. If he said anything to the contrary, he would have been lying. If the truth doesn't get him elected, then he isn't a good representation for the party.

Nor does outsider equal someone who donated some of the most despicable liberal democrats and RINO republicans and has even had the democrat nominee and her husband show up to his wedding and even donated a hundred thousand dollars plus to the democrat nominee's senate race and charity.

That befuddles me as well. Five people could look at the same cloud and you will get 5 different descriptions of what the cloud looked like. Everything from butterflies to puppy dogs.

For example, you know how much I respect you. Always have. But how anyone can see anything other than pathetic and foolery when it comes to DJT totally evades me. (That is NOT an HRC endorsement either.)

Some see butterflies and some see puppy dogs I guess.

Me... I just see a cloud.

Meh I doubt he cares at this point.
Cruz is a nobody right now.

In general, I dunno know why endorsements matter.
For me, I wouldn't care who endorsed whichever politician.

Good for him. I wouldn't support somebody who went directly after my wife. Cruz took a direct blow to the face, but he kept his principles . That makes alright in my book.

Actually, incorrect. The Republican candidates were worried that Trump had enough supporters to cause a problem if he went third party. Always assuming he would die quickly. Then he defeated them all. Cruz doubled down in March stating his word was his bond. Others simply tucked tail and crawled back under their rock.

Now he's hiding behind Mommies skirts. Never mind that he put mommie into the political arena and took the first swing.

Giving your word, then reneging is not standing on principles. It's being a sore loser.

Which matters precisely ZERO. He's a senator from Texas, the only support that matters in his next re-election is the support from Texans.

I feel the same way. I respect many people who are Trump supporters (including my dad). I just don't know why they can't see what we're seeing in him. He's a total disaster.

It was an anti-Trump PAC started by Liz Mair who was a staffer on Scott Walker's failed Presidential campaign. It wasn't even loosely connected to Cruz.

Cruz doesn't have to 'disavow' anybody he has no control over much less give them the time of day. I asked MaggieD, does telling people to vote how they feel make him a traitor? More so than somebody who has donated to the other party for decades? You're welcomed to answer whenever you want.

Perhaps you should take a gander at what the "news" sources for the TP folks have to say about it. They're not at all happy with his public suicide note.

What you "believe" isn't relevant. You said a "Cruz PAC" went after Trump's wife. Ted Cruz had a few PACs Super PACs supporting him. This was not one of them.
