You seem to be really struggling with this. What Obama claimed is utterly irrelevant to the facts on the ground: Iraq was not stable. The facts bear that out. You seem easily suckered by him and took him at his word. I don't. But then, I don't have a problem facing reality.
I hope this clears things up for you, because honestly I have no idea how you could have gone this long and still believe that Obama had nothing to do with the basket case that is currently the ME. You can't be informed on the issue of ME policy and not know what I just posted. You can claim your informed but that doesn't mean much when you get all your information from MSNBC or Media Matters.
I mean most Presidents at least try to establish some semblance of peace, or broker deals between the Palestinians and the Israeli's, like Clinton did. But Obama's objective was and still is to destabilize the most unstable part of the world and to support Islamic States over secular Governments.

Iraq was not stable and yet, Obama pulled out all US Military forces and allowed ISIS to run roughshod through once liberated cities killing Men, Women and Children. AGAIN, his policy decisions were based around destabilizing the entire region and allowing a murderous Islamic group to spread their influence and gain new territory.

It's a unusual strategy for peace in the Middle East, wouldn't you say ?

I think the US policies are almost irrelevant to some extent.

ISIS was gonna happen, regardless of the US.

Libya was going to collapse when their dictator fell.

Iran was going to crush the green revolution, and a US intervention would have just sparked a giant war. (Thanks, Obama, for not listening to the GOP!)

Egypt is, like most of these counties, being torn between historic rivalries created from WW1, the clash of old line conservative Islam and the desire for Western values, and the usual clash of culture when technological change happens in backward countries.
