Bernie Sanders Endorses Hillary

Yup. And that relates to democratic socialism being the same as Marxism-Leninism/Stlainism how?

This is 100% false.
"Democratic socialists do not want to create an all-powerful government bureaucracy. But we do not want big corporate bureaucracies to control our society either. Rather, we believe that social and economic decisions should be made by those whom they most affect.

Today, corporate executives who answer only to themselves and a few wealthy stockholders make basic economic decisions affecting millions of people. Resources are used to make money for capitalists rather than to meet human needs. We believe that the workers and consumers who are affected by economic institutions should own and control them.

Social ownership could take many forms, such as worker-owned cooperatives or publicly owned enterprises managed by workers and consumer representatives. Democratic socialists favor as much decentralization as possible. While the large concentrations of capital in industries such as energy and steel may necessitate some form of state ownership, many consumer-goods industries might be best run as cooperatives.

Democratic socialists have long rejected the belief that the whole economy should be centrally planned. While we believe that democratic planning can shape major social investments like mass transit, housing, and energy, market mechanisms are needed to determine the demand for many consumer goods."
Doesn't socialism mean that the government will own and run everything? - Democratic Socialists of America

Tyrants are tyrants and thats it. Tyrants throughout history have the power to upsurp any political or economic system be them capitalist or self proclaimed socialist economies. They are not exclusively unique to one system or another.

The absolute only difference between traditional Marxists and today's American Progressive/Liberal/Socialist is the Progressive Liberals have up dated their PROPAGANDA. Instead of screaming Marxist theory the American Left uses social issues to sell their bad ideas. But those ideas are exactly the same as Marx and Lenin.

There are two types of Progressive Liberals:

1. Socialists attempting to lie about what they are.

2. Useful Idiots who join up because they think it’s cool or they like a social issue (abortion, gay rights). But they don’t realize they are giving support to the most destructive political/economic ideology the world has ever seen.

A close examination of the governing platforms of both Socialism and Communism shows the absolute only difference between the two is Socialist try to claim they can function without a Totalitarian Dictatorship.

The problem with that is Socialism is so antithetical to human nature that people have to be forced to do it. This can only happen with an all powerful centralized government controlling everything AKA a Totalitarian Dictatorship.

No matter what so called Democrat Socialist say about themselves their ideology has no ability to function without centralized planning and a large all powerful Government.

Fascism is another danger of a large all powerful government. Like Socialism, Fascism requires a large all powerful government to function. American Libertarians and Conservatives don’t qualify to be Fascist because their most fundamental desire is individual freedom and limited power government.

LOL, you're pretending everyone left of Rush Limbaugh is part of some homogeneous group, and the same with people to the 'right' of him. It's just provable nonsense. No, sorry, a liberal/progressive as the term is used in U.S. politics in 2016 simply isn't comparable to a communist in the style of Stalin or Lenin. There are examples all over the world that illustrate the huge fundamental differences. Similarly, there is a huge divergence between, say, evangelicals on the right and libertarians, etc.

Basically your argument boils down to "liberals suck, conservatives R awesome."

Nice Try, Being a Libertarian I am to the left of Rush, but only on social issues. Like Rush and other Conservatives I believe in Limited Power Govt and a Free Market Economy.

Any honest look at history shows that Socialism is the worst thing to ever happen to the Human Race.

If a person had a time machine they could go back kill Hitler and save millions of lives, or they could kill Karl Marx and save billions.

Today there are two types of Progressive Liberals in America. 1. Socialist trying to sneak that ideology in. 2. Useful Idiots too stupid to realize they are helping them, usually on board because of social issues.

Oh, yeah, Hitler was a "socialist" because it's right there in the name. I mean, he oppressed and killed communists and socialists but was one himself, sort of like N. Korea is a democratic republic, just like we are! And obviously there is no fundamental difference between Stalin's Russia and, say, France or New Zealand or Norway or the UK! Brilliant analysis.
