Intruder shot by off-duty St. Louis County officer after online argument about BLM

Re: Intruder shot by off-duty St. Louis County officer after online argument about BL

First off, the cop was apparently harassing, abusing, and racially insulting the other man online, provoking him to such anger that the situation escalated rapidly.

Prove it or retract!

And then, instead of peacefully apprehending an unarmed man, the cop pulls out his gun and shoots without even thinking about maybe pepper spray or a taser.
The guy tossed a concrete block through the cop's home window. He's obviously strong. Unarmed or not, that still makes him a serious threat.

Go take your BlackLivesMatter platitudes elsewhere.

Prove what? A white cop talking to an person of color is almost guaranteed to result in racism and prejudice on the part of the white cop. Even if it's unintended, white privilege often gets in the way of a truly civil conversation.

A concrete block is not a weapon. Throwing a block into a window is vandalism. I didn't know that vandalism deserved a summary death sentence.

Spare me the White Privilege BS. Now you're talking like an SJW nut.

The guy was violent. He invaded this cop's home. He brought it all on himself.

The same people you call "sjw nuts" are the future voters, businesspeople, lawmakers, and leaders of this country.

A white person talking to a minority is "white privilege"? What's he supposed to do? Duck Tape his mouth shut? You're ****ing hilarious. Best entertainment I've had in months. :lamo

He has the right to debate anyone on any issue he chooses online in his off hours.
The person he shot made it personal and lost his life for it.

Most departments have policies covering electronic and social media interactions by their officers exactly because of crap like this.

Only you are commenting on his skin color.

Why is it important to you?

Lib's favorite debate tactic is calling everyone else a racist. Its mostly because they have no ability to reason without it.

Re: Intruder shot by off-duty St. Louis County officer after online argument about BL

The deceased man shouldn't have broken into somebody else's home, but the majority of the blame of this situation falls on the trigger happy cop who shot him. First off, the cop was apparently harassing, abusing, and racially insulting the other man online, provoking him to such anger that the situation escalated rapidly. And then, instead of peacefully apprehending an unarmed man, the cop pulls out his gun and shoots without even thinking about maybe pepper spray or a taser.

This cop and cops like him are the reason there are so many needless deaths of people of color at the hands of law enforcement in the usa. And the easy access to firearms in this land only helps situations escalate from salvageable to fatal into the blink of an eye.

No words excuse someone from going into another person's home violenty with the intent to cause physical violence.

I highly doubt "sjw nuts" will lead anything other than their local feminist chapter of their university.

Pretty hard to be business people or leaders of the country on a Diversity Studies degree.

Those nuts won't last a year in the real world, which won't pander to their whiny BS.

Free Speech applies to everyone. Those departments have no business telling their officers what they can and cannot do online during their own hours. As long as it's not illegal, it's none of their business.

You are obviously very ignorant in the ways that the real world works.

Re: Intruder shot by off-duty St. Louis County officer after online argument about BL

I don't have a problem with shooting a home intruder. But the guy was a cop. Isn't it his job to apprehend such people if possible?

Frankly, I'm glad the cop didn't arrest him. Anybody who is psycho enough to stalk someone on Facebook and show up to their house isn't really someone I want tax payers supporting either.
