Democrats on Monday pre-empted the upcoming release of a Republican-led House Select Committee report on Benghazi by issuing their own version of a probe into the 2012 terror attack that killed four Americans on Hillary Clinton's watch as secretary of state.

The move by Democrats on the panel was designed to debunk the conclusions of the committee's majority report that is expected to be highly critical of Clinton. According to the report from the Benghazi Democrats……….. The Democratic report was simultaneously an indictment of the work and structure of the committee, set up by former House Speaker John Boehner in 2014, as much as a look into the events in Benghazi. All along, Democrats have branded the probe as nothing more than a partisan witch hunt targeting Clinton rather than another attempt to establish the facts about Benghazi…..

We await the Republican patrician report which was originally intended to cripple HRC from being elected in 2012……..
This is the culmination of 11 Congressional committee reports; 2 independent investigative newspaper reports; 2 reports from Inspector General’s findings; and internal cabinet department investigations……all finding any wrong doing of HRC’s part…… all costing the taxpayers $11 million dollars……

Weird you mention something like that because it's the left wing who got a couple dozen of their State AGs to try to shut up Climate skeptics ... or who are getting a plank added to the Party platform that supports that effort ... or who hire rioters to discourage free speech ... or who created the concept of "safe zones" ... for example.

Those things would likely only be conceived of by a "nazi at heart", don't you think?

What was the role of our Sec. of State if not to protect our Embassies and foreign offices? Do you have any idea what the hell Hillary Clinton was doing in her position? What positive accomplishments as Sec. of State did she achieve? She and you have told us how experienced she is, experienced at what? Holding a position isn't the kind of experience necessary to be in the highest office in the land, generating positive results is.

The events in Benghazi should hurt Clinton's chances as they show zero leadership skills, zero positive results, and the death of an ambassador. She has poor judgment, poor management skills, and is incompetent

I'm still reading the summary. I don't want any of the reliable sources here to unnecessarily rejoice during my absence, so I'll check in from time to time - but this could take a while. Naturally there's nothing there, but I do love us sending unarmed drones - especially the second - to a gun fight. It's what I always do, too. Wonder if those drones caught images of the protestors dutifully watching the video on their phones?

In my opinion, the deaths of the four Americans in Benghazi was indeed the fault of the Clinton Dynasty.
Also, in my opinion, this is a huge distraction from House Clinton's real Achilles heel:



All this Benghazi fiasco is going to do is make the Republicans look like assholes, since (as I am sure many here will agree) House Clinton has had plenty of time to set up firewalls, backdoors and motes against this - somewhat clumsy, silly and haphazard - all-out frontal assault.

What we need to do (Anti-Clinton Democrats, Liberals, Conservatives and Republicans alike), as a united front against this dynasty, is attack the soft underbelly - which is unequivocally the Clintons' private server and the money-laundering Clinton Foundation.

They need to be made an example of, to all Oligarchs, that this is the United States of ****ing America. NOT an Oligarchy.

These people need to be ****ing arrested.

The Re[publican report of the committee found no wrong doing on the part of HRC just like the m8 previous investigations.......... The balance of your post rep[resents your opinion............and other believe otherwise

Maybe this will clear it up.

While Clinton was SofS she had a thing going with Sid, who had no security clearance, btw, and didn't work for State, nevertheless he was constantly emailing Hillary advising her on Libya ... there were a bunch of emails showing that.
Using his own Libyan sources, Sid told Hillary the attack may have been because of the video but in quick order acknowledged to her that the video was just an excuse.

And in case you had planned to question Sid's Libyan sources, you should know he had business interests in Libya which is why he wanted new leadership there which Hillary was willing to oblige.

But you're right, there's all sorts or loony Leftists with 1 degree of separation from each other.
Blumenthal, Brock and Media Matters, Hillary, etc.

There isn't a lot of difference when it comes to wrong doing and incompetence in your world. Hillary was responsible for the death of an ambassador and blamed a video. You buy the rhetoric and ignore the incompetence.

A Ctrl+F search of the 399 pages reveals 23 references to Donald Trump; admittedly, many of those are accounted for as hyperlinks in Endnotes, a point that the Republican Select Committee on Benghazi was negligent in mentioning when it trumpeted the statistics earlier today. The number of Trump mentions accurately is 13; that still “trumps” mentions of Doherty — 12 — and Woods — 4 — when you remove their names from the Executive Summary and Conclusion sections, which listed the deceased Americans free of investigative substance.

Didn't clear anything up. "Sid" as you call him is a consultant, and gets paid for his services. So it's a complete mystery why someone paying Sid for services he provides as a regular basis to earn a living means Hillary is corrupt.

You've got a bunch of speculation on Hillary engaging in regime change so Sid's business interests make more money, but that's just you throwing out crap unless there is, you know, something in the way of evidence. And even if that's true it has nothing to do with what Brock's entities paid him.

The GOP's House report was a total yawner. For $7 million we taxpayers paid for an "investigation" that found little more than the GOP Senate report did four years earlier.

I guess it was either that or deal with real problems, and what fun would that be?

You can keep repeating that until the cows come home, but it'll be no closer to the truth the first time or the last time.

The facts are that bad judgement and bad decision making were evident, and people died. OK, that's bad enough, and sometimes that happens. You admit to it, you learn from it and make sure it never happens again. Fine.

Obama, Hillary, and Rice all knew within short order that the attack was a planned terrorist attack and not a response to an Internet video. That's also the fact.

It is also a fact that Obama, Hillary, and Rice all continue to blame the Internet video long after they knew the attack wasn't in response to that, and worse, they lied to the public about it.

It is also a fact than rather work to send in rescue and support, the late day meeting had action items not to save the people under threat, but to conjure up this Internet video lie, and let the people die. When leaders have such disregard for the people that report to them, such disregard for their people in the field and are more worried about how it'll look, that's inexcusable from both a leadership perspective as it is from simply being an honorable and trustworthy human being perspective.
