doesn't need to say "thou shalt use anal probes," it just needs to condemn gay sex and from there, humans will take it on themselves to justify anything. The bible doesn't say to burn gay men to death, yet it happened. The same tests were frequently used in christian europe for centuries

Anti gay laws did not exist in kenya until the british explorers arrived around 1900. The recent missionaries like scott lively have increased the hysteria. You can make a case that their beliefs are misguided, that they pervert scripture etc, but you can't pretend that they don't sincerely believe they are following scripture

i don't believe your solution was to force all muslims into camps like one poster here, or to ban them all from the country like donald trump and even many democrats. I know you don't in any way support violence against lgbt. I understand why you take offense, but clearly some do need this lesson that islam alone is not the only source of violent homophobia or violence in general

I can pretty much assure I have no interest is trying to make any kind of "case" to you. Why waste the time? If it's not persecution of gays (by Christians), you can't be bothered with it.

I don't assume people think just the way I think they should. Sometimes silence speaks just as loudly as what's said. I know you believe ISIS is bastards that because they targeted gays. When the were beheading Christians, though,'I certainly didn't see the same kind of resolve from you. In fact, you were pissy with me for respecting my Christians brethren for not recanting their faith despite being faced with imprisonment or worse.

Well by accomplishing what you want and making Christianity and Christians the focus of the bashing instead, that doesn't accomplish much except shutting down any kind of criticism of Islam

muslims are a tiny minority in america and thus vulnerable to reactionary policies like donald trump immediately promised. If it were the other way around and 3% of the country were christians and it was a christian extremist who did this, you would see the same attempts from liberals to protect them as a group

I don't have a single reason to believe that. Christians do get killed in other parts of the world and you thought I was totally wrong to condemn it. In fact, I'm not sure I've ever seen a lefty comdemn it or speak up for them (though I probably have).

Is it possible for you to understand the concept that rights are rights and some who complain the most about what KENYA does to gays are all too happy to discard constitutional rights (like DUE PROCESS) in the USA? I realize that such a point often gores liberals but your comment is really pretty stupid

i haven't said much of anything about ISIS actions in syria including throwing gay men off buildings, because i can't do anything about it. I just hope they get a drone missile up the ass for MANY reasons and that's it

as for that thread, well first of all, i didn't even know what you were referring to, you didn't use any examples. You coulda been talking about 200 AD for all i knew. Secondly, ISIS targets a lot more than gays and christians, and that was kinda my point. Most of their victims are muslim, and you can see this plainly at the refugee camps. Yet your post only mentioned christians. I wonder why that is, silence speaks is right

it's not just criticism donald trump wants. The stakes are much higher than that. Otherwise i'd agree

This happened in america, it's a debate about american policy re: immigration, purging minority religions, guns, the FBI, and many other topics

you're telling lies-I never mentioned guns. I mentioned other rights-like not being denied rights without due process. You're the one who brought guns into this

At least in this country, anal probing is (supposedly) limited to airport security and to persecute harmless drug users
