Hillary Clinton enjoys "bipartisan support" of the Republican Establishment

It seems you are still unwilling to accept the fact that the Democrats were instrumental in the Confederacy's existence.

Seeing as how I just gave you a long diatribe which included how the Dems were (until at least the first decade of the 1900's) the conservative party nationwide AND were the party of the very conservative AND very racist Deep South until the late 1960's, it seems you really didn't get the gist of what I posted.

I've got no problem saying the Dems were the party of the Confederacy, of the KKK, of Jim Crow...because they WERE...

...but in the late 1960's and into the 1970's, the conservatives and the racists (which in the Deep South were pretty much one and the same) deserted the Dems for the GOP, where they remain to this day. Why else do you think the very conservative Deep South is now the heart of the GOP?

Oh, and one more thing - Mississippi did not ratify the Thirteenth Amendment banning slavery until 2013 - yes, that was three years ago. So don't tell me that racism isn't still strong in the very conservative, very red Deep South...because it very much is.

That's nice and all, but what I'm saying in relation to the Democrats' past history with the south, there are now a minority few "Democrats" hijacking the party, like there are "Republicans" who aren't really Republicans at all. Both Parties are slowly and steadily being usurped by inherently Conservative and/or Right-Steering sub-factions. Which, like the South, are inherently against the majority of the United States of America - both fanning the flames of their underlings in further division-and-conquest of the American political system. Both are very militarist, pro-Wall St., pro-Citizens United, and interventionist/pro-military-industrial-complex.

No one is saying that. Hell, East Tennessee at one point during the Civil War tried to secede from the rest of the state and join the Union.
