I'm fascinated by how you believe that "being liked" is required to be a zero sum affair. As though if being liked is important, then it's also important to be liked by the worst people in the world as well; and if it's not important to be liked by the world's worst people, then it's de facto unimportant to be liked even by our friends. I've never experienced that kind of hyper-polarized thinking, and I hope I never do.

It does appear that it is you that needs to read slowly. Never, no where did I say it was important to be liked. I have always stated that being RESPECTED is more important. The statement was made that Trump will create problems for our allies and I asked who. still no answer
