That is a standard 15 year timeframe of classification. It wasn't declared to be declassified 15 years from its discovery and classification on 6/30/2015, which means it was classified material when it was written.

Sorry folks, if the Bush2 team was not indicted for there conduct of the war, I do not really see Clinton being indicted for a lesser crime. Indictments do not happen to folks like that. You all just hang on to that wet dream until Nov.

As someone who has handled thousands of classified documents, to include TS material, that bolded is incorrect. Classified material is classified at the point of collection and exploitation by the sources and methods used. Which is why Hillary has shifted to the claim that "nothing was marked classified", which is a bland nothing-statement, akin to arguing that, because you didn't stuff the cash into big bags marked "stolen money", that you didn't steal it.

There are very narrow and very rare circumstances in which unclassified information can become classified - compilation of unclassified material can become classified, especially when one starts to apply analysis that is informed by (but does not reference) classified reporting. In about a decade or so I have seen this happen, I think, twice, and those times were upgrades from Unclassified to Confidential. The idea that thousands of classified documents, including more than twenty Top Secret Special Compartmented Information (including Special Access Programs and Source Material) documents, were the result of this process is - to someone who does this for a living - only slightly more plausible as Hillary Clinton winning every single lottery for the next decade, by pure luck, without buying tickets.

The classification stamp on a document isn't what makes it valuable, it's the contents. You're part of the group worrying only about the LEGALITY of the matter, not national security. If an ordinary federal employee had done this, they would be long up **** creek without a paddle rest assured.

That is absolutely true. Any uniformed personnel, contractor, or federal civilian who had systematically violated federal law pertaining to the handling and protection of classified information over a course of several years and thousands of incidents, would have been in prison shortly after this broke.

Not only that, the entire organization for which that person worked could be at risk of losing its ability to handle such information in the future.
