Heidi Cruz calls husband 'an immigrant,' campaign staff quickly retracts

It wasn't the voters who changed his name - it was Cruz himself. Hmmm, are you suggesting he was embarrassed by his name? Or that he knew it would turn off a portion of the people's vote he was trying to capture?

If he didn't use his last name your theory might hold water. Because Cruz is way more Hispanic sounding than Rafeal(Rafeal isn't even Hispanic to begin with, see bible)

They got the caption wrong of course - should say, "Aren't we all immigrants?".

Well, going by that rigid logic, anybody who migrated out of Ethiopia is an immigrant.

Looks like Ted Cruz mistook Donald Trump for himself.

Or a case of the pot calling the kettle black.

Cruz is from Spain, if i'm not mistaken. Plus it sounds like Cruise, as in Tom Cruise.

Rafael is from Spain, France, Italy, and Portugal.

They are both hispanic, but Cruz sounds more American, imo...

Rafael (given name), a name of Hebrew origin meaning "God has healed"

Click your link :

"Raphael is a name of Hebrew origin meaning "God is Healer" or "God has Healed" (רפאל). Depending on the language (first popularly used in France, Spain, Italy, and Portugal) it can be spelled either Raphael, Raphaël, Rafael, Raffael, Raffaele, or Refael. The French equivalent is Raphaël."

His wife confirmed it. Rafael cruz is not a US citizen and not eligible for the presidency. Can't be an immigrant and a citizen. Not possible. It is like seating and standing at the same time.

I sure like all Trump-tards he will use the "but that was yesterday he said that" excuse or some variation of it or say that those liberal positions make Trump a moderate and that we need a moderate.

That's exactly where we are going - from arguing that people who didn't support Trump weren't "real" conservatives to arguing that only stupid conservatives don't support Trump

It was kind of funny that people were arguing that considering Trumps liberal positions.
When Trump gets curb stomped by Clinton in the general election, will people say it is because Trump was too conservative or too liberal? I think that despite his mostly liberal leaning people will say he too conservative and that is one of the reasons he lost.

That is absolutely what people will say. And then they will say we have to pass amnesty. Opposition to it will be tired to Trump, and be rejected.
