Russia denies wrongdoing after jet barrel-rolls over U.S. aircraft

No big deal.

They buzz 'America', America buzzes them, NATO buzzes them, they buzz NATO.

It has been going on for decades...no big deal.

This is actually a rather tame occurrence. There have been much more close-calls.

And if something happened, such as these hot dogging Russians hit our aircraft?

A President with balls would cut Russia off at the knees. Something non-military of course. A new round of crippling economic sanctions on them would suffice.

Obama would probably apologize.

When a US spy plane operates in International airspace very near the border of a Foreign Nation (Russia), that act can be interpretted as a provocation. Ergo, a reciprocation, in kind, is expected. This is just the US propaganda narrative operating in the Mass Media trying to give the Russians a black eye. In fact, the USA is the provocateur in this matter. 8000 miles away from USA borders, don't ya' know?

Russia has violated our airspace dozens of times (many of them involving BOMBERS) since Obungle's been in office and the response has basically been "Meh".

Yet a US Spy Plane hovers near the Russian border, and you call it "a provocation" and a Russian pretending he's Tom Cruise at the beginning of Top Gun is justified?

Who's side are you on?

International airspace is not Russian territory it was the Russians who were the aggressors any assertion to the contrary is blame the victim fascist propaganda from payed Putinista pigs!

It's not so much the hate America crowd as it is Putins fascist cult of personality crowd.

There's a difference?

I'm guessing he has a paid subscription to RT. You know, to get the real news, without all that American propaganda.

Every post he's ever written is either about hating the US or fawning over Putin.

This stuff has been happening forever. I was stationed on an F18 station in the 80's and I worked with pilots every day. I am not sure if all the stories are true but they used to talk about about whacky stuff they would do, almost exactly like the Russian jet did the American ship. And low fly bys of known enemy camps and just crazy stuff guys should not be allowed to do in a $28 million jet. OH yea, our S3 officer got grounded for a couple months because he flew upside down under a ski lift somewhere in the Rockies. I know that one was true. These guys are flying around in airborne Ferraris and in peace time I guess it gets pretty boring.

I wonder if the ROE is the same for Iranian fighters. As far as I know didn't they declare a state of war against the USA?

The Russians know they are safe with us and know what to expect.

Because jet pilots like to avoid polonium-laced rations.

That means absolutely nothing.
So some Russian pilot got frisky around an American airship. Does it need to be directed by the Kremlin or is it possible that in Russia the same types of young, aggressive, Alpha-oriented men are trained as fighter pilots as in the USA?

Another day, another thread full of right-wingers who never did learn the difference between looking tough and being tough.

Why? To what end?

Because they are continuously making provocative actions against the US in international waters it is time for a hard line response against these fascist pigs.

So, to be clear, you think the United States military should murder people for being annoying.

Seriously, dude, I want to know why you'd start a war over meaningless ****.

Right.

Real manly man would have started World War 3 by now. Thats how you look tough. Respond to annoyances with extreme violence. Yeah. *spits* Lookin' tough

No they should shoot down aircraft which breach their flight paths and put US lives at risk through overt acts of aggression, but yes the only good Russian soldier is a dead Russian soldier.
