Racism is the police force in the US.. say it aint so!... that is like saying there is ice in Antarctica and sand in the Sahara.

"Courtroom 302" (Steve Bogira) sheds further light on the long and hideous history of the Chicago PD.

How is arriving onto a seen late and shooting someone 16 times even after they are down on the ground contrived? You guys funny.

I can't take you people seriously. The left cares more about using minorities as props for Political Capital and expediency than you do about the people who live in inner city areas

Whats contrived is broadbrushing a entire Police Department as " racist " for the actions of one Cop.

Contrived is manufactured racism for purely Political purposes at the expense of the people who live in inner city areas.

Hands up don't shoot was contrived

Contrived is manufacturing narratives that create victims and perpetuate a victimhood mentality instead of focusing on substantive issues that could actually save lives

Get back to me when you start giving a rats ass about the exponential rise in Black on Black shootings.

Racism exist around every corner and these people are powerless, right ?

Ironic that you consider yourself to be a advocate while simultaneously diluting the charge of racism to the point where its holds no weight whatsoever

I think the left cares more about the Political capital they can earn than they actually do about saving lives in inner city areas

Racism has nothing to do with left or right... just wrong and even more wrong. That racism exists is nothing new... however we should as a society combat it as much as possible and that is where the political aspect comes in. Most on the right (regardless of country) tend to dismiss either that racism exists or that it a major problem anymore.. the GOP and its supporters certainly do that, as do my own conservatives back in Denmark.

It is time we accept that we have a problem and need to deal with it. Ignoring it or finding excuses for it is just as wrong as the racism it self.

How can you combat something that's being marginalized and manufactured for Political purposes on a daily basis?

An excuse is chalking everything up to racism instead of addressing the substantive issues that have led to generational poverty and a increase in violence and crime in inner city areas.

Pretty much everything about Chicago is broken, and the common denominator is a broken political system. I agree with Chomsky (I think) that the problem is much more about class than race.
