Ben Carson endourses Donald Trump

You're saying he should have endorsed Ted Cruz, the man who lied about him repeatedly?

v the guy who compared him to a pedophile?

Why? Ted Cruz slandered Ben Carson repeatedly.

Did trump ? and thats a serious question not a remark. I would think the donald didnt spare him either

By electing one! Who says that he's flexible to keeping the system running!
No big political donor (not yet) would have the cache to tell Trump how to vote and with whom to side. We get Trump and not some shadowy entity...aren't we lucky?

No. We get someone who doesn't even know his own mind, but whose instincts are leftist and authoritarian. You are trying to fix the system by doubling down on what is wrong with it.

Or are you?

That baby looks worried ...

A 1000 adults screaming behind it, and you want to tie its look to the one man in front of it. Astounding.

Or are you?

Nope. I'm trying to elect someone who will govern conservatively, who will help yank us back rightward, who will help to try to reduce the size, scope, and control of government. Trump would do none of these things, in fact, he would do their opposite.

It is about the man in front of it.

It's also rude to take a woman who's clearly just excited, and got caught in a picture that makes her look nuts, and try to make a statement about her from it. The message of those who use the picture that way is crass, and the only excuse for it (if it is an excuse) is that Trump fans act in the same way that they are now being treated.

 yes he is. He explicitly states that he is going to make deals, his liberal history and occasional current slips into defending liberal policy suggests that he is already prone to make deals in favor of liberal priorities, and I see nothing out there that argues that he's terribly committed to any conservative ideal that would stop him from doing so. I don't even see anything out there that would suggest that he would actually be able to make great deals. The only difference between his deal-making and McConnels' is that McConnel, if anything, probably has more incentive to stick to conservative principles so that he avoids facing revolt.

Trump has mostly won, where he has won (which isn't nearly as often as he would have you believe) by playing dirty against people who didn't know they were supposed to be playing dirty. That isn't going to happen in politics.

I don't see how. It ensures that the money gravy train keeps rolling.

As he said. He's flexible.

I am not defending him as you seem to think I am. This is just my analysis. He is by and large a shark. McConnell is not. Well not the shark Donald is. McConnell didn't and doesn't negotiate in any meaningful way so comparing him and Trump as the same is foolish. By the way the strata that Trump plays in almost EVERYONE plays dirty pool. Goldman Sachs and the rest do not play fair or nice. Its as cutthroat if not more so than politics. I am a little plankton in that world.

Carson got promised Surgeon General. That's the only explanation of this I can come up with. Just like Christie is set for Attorney General.

Republicans are quickly lining up behind Trump. This is going to be hilarious, until he wins the presidency. Then it's going to be terrifying.

There are a long list of unhappy people who thought they could play harder and cleverer than McConnell. The problem with Mitch isn't that he's not fine with being a hardball player. It's that he doesn't care to do so for consistently conservative ends. The one place that Trump Trumps him is in the realization that much of politics is Theater, though McConnell seems to get that now (his immediate declaration of No SCOTUS Candidate made it more difficult for him to actually achieve that end, but was a message aimed at the base).

Actually Trump mostly loses money to the banks, or he declares bankruptcy on them. The people I was referring to were regular development business partners, and regular joes who bought into things like Trump University.

No they aren't. His base seems to be holding generally steady as the field consolidates. If it does so any more, he will gain some, but a distinct minority.

The exit polls in Michigan and Mississippi asked voters who they’d pick in a two-way race between Trump and Cruz, also giving them the option to say they’d sit out the race. Among Rubio voters, on average between the two states, about 75 percent said they’d still vote in a Trump-Cruz race, and of those, 80 percent would prefer Cruz to Trump. Kasich voters were somewhat more equivocal; 55 percent said they’d still vote, and of those, two-thirds would go to Cruz over Trump....

Cue Kasich and Christie ads attacking Carson in 3.... 2....

I hadn't thought of that. I figure Kasich is but forgot about Christie. It is too bad we won't see what goes on behind the scenes.

Ted Cruz's campaign put out a message that Ben Carson was dropping out of the race when he wasn't (but it sorta looked like he was). Trump compared Ben to a pedophile and mocked his faith.

I didnt know that to be honest. He also said carson had dropped out in nevada and he hadnt, that I was aware of.

Cruz's plan for containing illegal immigration contains big government proposals. E VERIFY? (Does Cruz even have a plan for deporting the undocumenteds we have?) Cruz's plan to contain ISIL uses US boots on the ground in Iraq...and Syria?

Really? Huh. Maybe I just assumed it got more play than it did because I pay attention to this kind of thing.

Mandating E-Verify is not a Big Government Proposal, in fact, by enforcing E-Verify, we can reduce enforcement because we have streamlined and simplified the problem set we are going after. If you think that Cruz is a big government liberal

(Does Cruz even have a plan for deporting the undocumenteds we have?)

As they are found to break other laws, yes. Unlike a massive population-wide sweep that would involve rounding up and forcibly deporting millions of American citizens, which his what Trump claims he wants to do.

We already have boots on the Ground. Trump said last night he'd put 20,000-30,000 more in there. Cruz didn't give a figure (that I heard), but said that he would listen to the force requirements issued by commanders on the ground.

I didn't tie anything to anything, I just stated that the baby looked worried.

E Verify is a big government program that catalogs individuals in a computer system. Will cost billions of dollars and will be big government. Even more so with real time computing which is an absolute necessity because it gives the most current information.

Oh, so you were just making an observation. So this picture of a worried baby means the same.
