The U.S. Supreme Court ruled Monday in favor of an Alabama woman who sought legal custody after splitting up with her same-sex partner.
The case required the court to interpret the Constitution's dictate that every state must give "full faith and credit" to legal decisions reached in other states.
This is an important ruling, and was reached using the Full Faith And Credit clause of the Constitution.
With all the kids who need homes, this can only be seen as a good decision. More homeless kids will now have loving parents.
I am dying to know which way the vote went, and who wrote the opinion, since this is an unsigned opinion.
