Ted Cruz and his poor hygeine have taken center stage as one of the more talked about discussions after the debate. Will this be his "Howard Dean moment?" Watch for yourself, but I think the Donald will be running with this for the next few weeks.

What the hell was that speck of matter on Ted Cruz's lip?

A mysterious white thing — styrofoam? Tooth fragment? Allegra tablet? — danced between the senator's lips before he ultimately sucked it back into his mouth and swallowed. (Cue uncomfortable audience laughter.)

It was the mysterious particle, and not the debate discourse, that took center stage in the postgame wrap-up.

I thought it was hilarious, as did the audience apparently since they laughed when Cruz swallowed it, but anyone who lets THAT determine who they vote for probably ought not go to the polls. I am curious as to what it was though.

It's how Trump, who has no problem making fun of POW's or Rubio's sweating that I'm interested in, not the food particle itself.

This comes close to making me reevaluate my view on abolishing delegates.
Because who cares about running the country when we can make fun of mysterious fragments of who gives a ****?
No wonder the Government feels more and more it needs to do the thinking for the American people...

In today's post-reason, post-common sense, post responsibility world, this is BIG NEWS. Come on HG, keep up! Did you know they have video of Cruz making a typo on his cell phone? The man can't even TEXT how can you expect a young voter to take him seriously!?!?

Honestly, I had never heard of a "tonsil stone", so I looked it up. It really does exist and it does look like what Cruz had on his lip.

That's what I like about DP...I learn something new every day.

Gosh, I wonder what other topics will be deemed "newsworthy" before the election? Maybe intrepid "reporters" can follow the candidates into the can and film them not washing their hands. I wonder if any of the candidates cut more than one bite of meat at a time or if they don't eat their veggies.
