DNC Chair Joins GOP Attack On Elizabeth Warren's Agency

The Consumer Financial Protection Bureau was a bureau that was supported by Obama and created/assembled by Elizabeth Warren. It's designed to protect the average person from various predatory payday lenders, so naturally Wasserman Schultz is frothing at the mouth over it's existence, and has personally joined the GOP to help remove ability of the bureau to function.


She's like many Republicans: She's just too stupid for code. Queen Debbie, when you do things like this, you're supposed to keep it a secret! You tell people that you're helping poor people, you don't pledge yourself to work with the GOP. Sometimes I wonder if it's all just an act and she wants to single-handedly remove the entire youth/progressive/etc vote from the Democratic Party, and she's a plant for the GOP. No one who's been in politics this long could be as bad and as stupid as Queen Debbie Wasserman Schultz is, but every time, she wants to outdo herself.

I quite agree with you - I've learned to strongly dislike Ms. Wasserman-Shultz.
 
I wonder when Elizabeth Warren will start kicking herself for not joining the race. Because Warren would absolutely destroy Clinton.

Dude, she isn't a Republican. She belongs to you guys, we don't want her. You are stuck with her. We have Trump and we don't need any more problems.

I hope she does.

The CFPB in no way exists to regulate the payday lenders. It has done severe damage to the community banks, and will continue to do so. By the way, I don't think the government should exist to prevent people from being victims to their own stupidity, and I also think payday loans have a place in this world for the people who use the service responsibly.

That said, I detest Wassrerman-Schultz. But apparently the Democrats love her.

The banking industry owns the DNC/democratic establishment, DWS, and Shillary outright. We all know this, they're not even bothering to maintain appearances half the time anymore. What is very surprising is how many are OK with it.
 
CFPB is a duplicated federal agency. Gut the whole thing, its wasted funds.

yeah she hates masculine values and capitalism more than hillary does and she's more shrill and angry which would appeal to the Harpy vote more than Cankles does

I'm not familiar with her legislative record, but referring to this particular instance and its timing, no stupidity is at play here. The shrewd among democrats are realizing the looming republican tyranny that will reconstitute the state's political and social identity and are adapting accordingly. Scoring points with republicans will prove to be valuable political currency, of course to the disenchantment of "progressives" specially among Sanders' cheerleaders.

Agreed. The only thing left is to wipe these pieces off the board come 2016. I highly encourage everyone to donate to the true progressive and former Bernie aid, Tim Canova, who's working on running against her.

All neoliberals belong, by basic definitions, on the Right-wing. She and Hillary are neo-liberals. You may not want them in your group, but they definitely don't belong in ours, either.
