Can you say "opportunism"? I know some people can - and then there are those who are the opportunists

Meg Whitman blasts Chris Christie for Trump endorsement

Meg Whitman, the Hewlett-Packard Co. chief executive who helped Chris Christie raise money for his failed presidential campaign, blasted the New Jersey governor on Sunday for his endorsement of Donald Trump, calling it “an astonishing display of political opportunism.”

(. . .)

“Chris Christie’s endorsement of Donald Trump is an astonishing display of political opportunism,” she said in a prepared statement. “Donald Trump is unfit to be president. He is a dishonest demagogue who plays to our worst fears. Trump would take America on a dangerous journey. Christie knows all that and indicated as much many times publicly.”

Everyone is entitled to an opinion. Even Mr. Christie, whether someone else agrees with it or not.

I'm personally amused that anyone thinks his endorsement (which is somewhat in keeping with the candidates original promise of support for each other, albeit to some maybe a bit premature) matters all that much.
