Chris Christie endorses Donald Trump for President

NH normal GOPs voted for Kasich over Christie because of the Rubio attacks.
How else do you expain Christie going after Rubio and leaving Trump and Kasich alone.
cc wants to be in their admin .

Christie does not hate Kasich as he does Rubio. In fact, K & C were friends before they were competitors. NH voted for K because he lived in the state for months.

I think he wants to assist in budget writing. That way he can eat, I mean cut out all the pork.

Greetings, Jack. :2wave:

Those who were paying attention to what he was saying apparently liked and understood his message, too. Our debt to GDP is currently 103 percent - we can't continue adding debt like we have been doing without experiencing major problems soon, IMO. The financial experts are warning us, but few legislators seem willing to address this problem, hoping it doesn't happen on their watch, so it is ignored. This isn't a game of musical chairs, though, and sooner or later, reality will take center stage. and that's what alarms me!

Greetings Polgara.:2wave:

Kasich is a grown up. I prefer grown up presidents.

Chris is now Trump's wh--e. Trump is probably paying off his campaign debt and I heard that he promised to make him the Secretary of Snacks.

I must agree with you JH. But he's running for the republican nod, so his chances are not very good. It looks like it's going to be the guy with the dead animal on his head.

The outlook is difficult but we struggle on nonetheless.

Imagine what could have been had Mitchell not vowed to do whatever he could to make sure that Obama would fail, regardless of its effects on the country. But I have to tell you, putting Trump in the WH is not the answer. Hillary is looking more and more like the heir apparent to Obama - BUT, that FBI investigation could do her in. Stay tuned.

Yes we do, and the irony is that this country -- both liberals and conservatives and everyone in between -- is so great, that we could even survive Trump in the WH. On the other hand, I still think that's a million to one shot.

I think he wants to assist in budget writing. That way he can eat, I mean cut out all the pork.

I don't think we can afford to have him in the government. He'd be eating on our dime - no way we can get through that.

Thus far everyone who has predicted his defeat has been wrong.

Speaking of showing up at your job, has there been a New Jersey siting of Christie lately?
cc's a far better hatchet man for Trump as he was a candidate for himself .

If you're in Jersey you can see Christie as far as Vermont on the north, Mississippi to the south, and California to the west.

Nationally? Do you really think he could win a national election? He is where he is because he's the new face of whited supremacy. That works with a large enough segment of the Republican base to give him the nomination (even evangelicals put Jesus on the back burner and put the bigotry he spews on the front ones), but nationally (including many Republicans and conservatives who detest him)? But we've seen stranger things happen, haven't we? (Although I can't think of any off the top of my head.)

So a loud, obnoxious fat guy from New Jersey endorsed a loud, obnoxious con man from New York.

Shocking.

every wannabe Godfather needs a Luca Brasi

Greetings, Labrador. :2wave:

Who are you talking about? Kasich is trim and looks healthy to me.

Hi Polgara - I was referring to Christie. There are so many amazing people in this country, both liberals and conservatives, who put country above themselves, yet look at what we end up with running for office.:doh

it used to be top civic leaders took a pay cut to hold public office (GHWB was the last one that comes to mind)

now political office is the best paying job most of these twits can get. That's the one thing you can say in favor of Trump-he probably isn't doing it for the money!

IMHO, Trump's appeal cuts across both parties' bases. His supporters are attitudinal, not ideological or specific issue driven. And yes, I think he could win a national election.

As I said, the new face of white supremacy - playing on racist attitudes and fears - In 1960, 85% of the population was white. Now it's closer to 62%. That scares some folks Jack - and he knows it and he'll use it. Take care :2wave:
