A huge explosion rocked Ankara in close proximity to the Turkish parliament building, reportedly hitting a military dormitory. Local media report that a large number of people have been injured.

Turkish police said the blast was caused by a vehicle exploding, Reuters reports. Social media users in Ankara say they heard a loud noise all across the city, and posted photos of a huge plume of smoke rising over downtown Eskisehir Avenue.

Looks like a false flag, in reaction Turkey will intervene and attack the Kurds with ground troops in Syria. The Turkish mafia need to be less obvious.

Just watch what happens in Syria now, trust me this will be immediately blamed on the Kurds and there will be an intervention in Syria because now they have an excuse.

They have already had alot of excuses. For example, armed Kurdish groups have de facto control over entire Kurdish majority neighborhoods in eastern Turkey. Likewsie, Turkish military action against Iraqi Kurdistan has also been minimal. I dont think the Turks are going to Syria unless Russia moves to make it a de facto Russian province (unlikely as they cant afford it) or Arab jihaders start showing up in Turkey's ethnic Arab majority province.

As for the bomb, it could have been jihaders, Kurds or perhaps even hard core Turkish leftists.

If it is a false flag or not Turkey's actions will decide whether it is-

A. If it blames the Kurds
B. If it goes in with ground troops

If those two objectives are fulfilled this is most likely a false flag attack.

Heck, it could have really been Kurds. But, I would place the first suspect as jihaders, espescially if it was a suicide attack. Turkish leftists would be a distant suspect if it was a barracks of the Turkish internal security agency. I cant see Turkish left wing extremists attacking ordinary Turkish conscripts though.

Or, in a false flag type cover, maybe it was pro Russian chechens acting on Putin's orders? The Russian republic of Tatarastan has recently been asserting their local autonomy more and refused to sever trade and air travel to Turkey after Putin ordered sanctions. Putin can get very upset about that sort of thing.

Yes it could of been the Kurds but when I judge who committed what I look at who stands to benefit from that event taking place and what they can use it for.

Yes it could of been an attack by Russian directed Islamists to send a message to Turkey but I doubt they would waste time and effort for simply provoking the government and giving them what they want which is yet another excuse to invade Syria.

It's not jihadis. Turkey supports ISIS and other jihadis. The supply streams for jihadis in Iraq and Syria are through Turkey. Turkey is as big a scumbag as Saudi Arabia. Pak Puk has hit the nail on the head on this one. Likely false flag. Right out of the CIA training manual.

Turkish Prime Minister Ahmet Davutoğlu has announced that a Syrian national with links to the People’s Protection Units (YPG) was identified as the perpetrator of the attack in Ankara. The attacker received assistance from outlawed Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK) militants in Turkey, the prime minister said.

A Syrian national, identified as 1992-born Salih Necer, was behind the car bomb attack in Ankara on Feb. 17 that killed 28 people and wounded 61 others, Davutoğlu said with “certainty.”

Necer was born in the Amuda province of northern Syria in 1992 and had links to the YPG, Davutoğlu informed reporters.

Turkish PM Davutoğlu also said that they will share/inform the allies and third parties with the intel report, documents about the attack , added if there is still someone who claims PYD(YPG) is not a terrorist organisation, we'll start to question alliance with those.

An explosion hit a military convoy in southeast Turkey on Thursday, and some people were wounded, security sources said, a day after a car bomb attack in the Turkish capital of Ankara killed 28 people.

The sources said the explosion hit the convoy on the highway linking Diyarbakir, the largest city in the mainly Kurdish southeast, to the district of Lice.
