Wake up on the wrong side of the bed today Dave? Why jump on me about something that has nothing to do with this thread? This thread is about the Iranians and their treatment of US Sailors that they captured in open waters, not Bush, or TORTURE, or who's side anyone is on, or whether I support the former CinC. Now, as for the Geneva Conventions are concerned, the only part that is in question in this thread is the Article that I quoted regarding the forbidding of the use of video or pictures of prisoners of war to be used for propaganda purposes, which again, I can't seem to connect to what you are fussing at me about.
I'm a little grumpy because I seem to be catching a cold, nevertheless, I was comparing the Iranian photo behavior with the USA, our behavior, as relates to torture a/k/a, waterboarding, specifically mentioned in the Geneva Conventions. The photos are a molehill being made into a mountain as they say. Why didn't the Iranians just waterboard these sailors and say it's OK because the USA says it's OK. The sailors were wrong and in Iranian waters and returned in a day, apparently an honest mistake acknowledged by both sides.
