Donald Trump Not Going to Debate

I have a strong feeling Kelly will "decide" that she will step down from the debate in order to give America the ability to hear what Trump believes and decide for themselves. And by deciding I mean that Fox News will cave into Trump because they only care about ratings and Trump is the reason the ratings are so high.

Ailes's Twitter post was blatantly insulting but i think purposely so. He was calling his bluff. The image of an empty lecturn will be a powerful one. Aisles really dislikes Trump.

How do you expect him to stand up to our enemies, when he is such a whiny coward, afraid of Megyn Kelly?

What a *****, he is showing his craven self now.

Putin would eat him for lunch.

I agree. Ailes crossed the line on this and demonstrated that Trump cannot trust him or his network. Trump is taking a big chance by not showing up but I feel he is doing the principled thing here. At this point, it is no longer about Kelly - Ailes made it about FOX and his opposition to Trump.

Trump is right about this.

Breaking News as Donald Trump's Campaign Manager says he is definitely not going to the debate. This is basically because he hates Megyn Kelly.

What a jerk![/QUOTE
Nope- it plays to & reinforces his claim that the Party Officials who run the party are his enemy. He is for the people.
Now he stated

MARSHALLTOWN, Iowa -- Republican presidential front-runner Donald Trump says he "probably won't" attend a debate scheduled for Thursday night in Des Moines, an unexpected twist just days before voters here launch the election process
Now we know he is a man that takes a gamble. Trump is the main draw, and FOX knows that. And today is only Tuesday

lots of people said that about Obama when it came to him not going on FOX... I guess you were one of them

That would be something I would love to see and if I stare at Donald Trump's empty podium for two hours I would have more respect for the network than I already do!

I think more people would tune in just to see if Trump is really going to not be there.

Did Obama ever wuss out of a debate?

We had a tea party nut run against my house representative last election, she ducked out of a debate...and she got her ass kicked in the election, and my district is about 50/50 left right.

Any bets Kelly recuses herself for the sake of Democracy?

I don't agree a real leader doesn't get into these stupid fights in the first place. Trump incited it from the get-go

Trump was wrong about opposing Kelly.

Trump is now right since Ailes overplayed his hand and publicly came out against him destroying any claim of objectivity or fairness FOX needs to have to do an event like this.

That's just a fascinating decision!!

FOX hasn't announced it yet (at least not on their web page) so I'm a little skeptical but if he really blows them off that's stunningly weak.

Ailes is defending his employee, which any boss worth his salt would do in this situation.

We'll see what happens, I suspect FoxNews may make a concession here just to get Trump on the debate. I could be very wrong on that.

Does this mean we can actually get a debate this time?

It took him a while though... so I don't think he's worth much salt.
