Bloomberg, Sensing an Opening, Revisits a Potential White House Run

Whaaaaaaat? Hogwash. Why would either candidate run against an independent? Hell....they would want him in. The only votes he would draw would be conservatives.

This is going to be just the worst election. Considering ALL the candidates...is there REALLy anyone that people 'want'?

Bloomberg won't pull conservative votes. Biden would pull more conservative votes than Bloomberg. Bloomberg, anti gun, anti soda, anti salt.

Yeah...this would be quite a show...especially if the GOP Elite succeed in defeating Trump and he turns to an independent run. Then it could be possible for third party candidates to garner more votes in the general election that the mainstream party candidates.

Would that be a first?

Hell yeah!

For all of us.

Bloomberg is not really an Independent. He is a wealthy, aristocratic, egoistical, well connected to Wall Street liberal. I would argue that by position on issues he is further left than Hillary but not near as left as Sanders.

So it comes down to primary results for ole (D) and (R) added to Bloomberg as an Independent.

If it is Trump v Hillary v Bloomberg, then odds are Hillary still wins where Independents too terrified of a Trump Presidency vote for Hillary as the lest of all evils. Bloomberg pulls in minimal numbers.

If it is Trump v Sanders v Bloomberg, then odds are we will have an even lower voter turn out than the above scenario. I suspect Independents and Moderates mostly stay home, which represents a voting block greater than party affiliated Democrats and Republicans. Bloomberg perhaps pulls better numbers in this scenario but still not near enough to gain electoral votes.

No matter which we still end up with at least two (odds are three in the Hillary scenario) candidates that represent the worst of our political make up.

I doubt the history books will be all that kind when writing about the election for 2016, and there will be little reason for them to be no matter if Bloomberg runs or not.

If it end up being a Hillary vs Trump election...sorry, I just threw up in my mouth a little. If that happens, an Independent could actually stand a chance. I hope it isn't Bloomberg, though.

I didn't think it possible for anyone to actually make me want to vote for Hillary...Bloomberg is prolly the ONLY person that could make me actually vote for her IF it was only a race between Hillary and Bloomberg. At least Hillary is just a lying crook. Bloomberg is a bigger threat to our Rights than Hillary.

Bloomberg would not run as a republican and would only hand the election to the GOP. Bloomberg is an extreme left wing authoritarian.

BUAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAAA!!!!!!!

Bloomberg is a nanny state liberal, despised by those who value liberty over prohibitionist thugs.

Who are, we are learning, not that overwhelming a majority of the GoP base.

He sees just how preposterous the race and some of it's players are.
The party would probably support him, unlike the two current front-runners - Filibuster Ted, and Wacky Donald.

BUT obviously most GOP voters mentality has confused the Presidential race with Reality TV.
A win for Trump whose main 'policy' in speeches is... he's ahead in the polls/Ratings.

Tho, I must say Teflon Don came into the race with Two excellent ideas: Stop Illegal immigration: Stop China from ripping us.
Also, one has to admire the No-PC.
He's just crossed the 'stupid line' way too many times to tolerate.

Of course, 100 is the mean IQ and 50% of the population are below that: many significantly. So...
