Watchdog says Iran has taken all steps to start implementing nuclear deal, paving way for lifting of sanctions

Director General Yukiya Amano said it was "an important day for the international community".

The agency's inspectors on the ground had verified that Iran had carried out the measures required, he said.

A deal between Iran and world powers was agreed last year.

Not much else right now.

I will update more as the article updates, or anyone else feel free.

It's amazing some people are actually going to be upset that this happened.

Excellent news.

The faster Iran joins the rest of the world, the better it will be for America, Iran and the World.

Many neocons will HATE this news...GOOD. Most things the Neocons hate (internationally) is probably good for America.

No doubt Neocons, Iran haters or just plain ignorant people on this will tell us all how despite the fact that they have probably never been to Iran that they know more about this then the IAEA.

Riiiiight.

Next they will tell us how to build cold fusion reactors...with chewing gum and a Big Mac.

So the samples Iran collected themselves and supplied and the sites Iran ALLOWED the IAEA is inspect checked out?!? What a f*cking surprise!! Never would have guessed that!!!!

And instead of putting sactions back on Iran for their OBVIOUS VIOLATION testing ballistic missiles, Obama releases $100,000,000 of their assets.

Once again, another Mulsim country treats Obama like their goat-b!tch.

This news was, of course, inevitable. What will be far more interesting is what comes next. Questions:

1) Will Iran use their unfrozen cash to increase their funding of proxies in Syria, Yemen, Bahrain and other places?
2) Will evidence mount that Iran is secretly cheating on the terms of the deal? If so, will sanctions be re-imposed?
3) How will this deal impact the next round of Iranian elections? Will Iranians view this deal as a victory or a defeat for the 'moderates' and if so, will that encourage Iran to play a more constructive role in bringing stability to the Middle East?

The questions are endless. The answers may well define how historians view the success or failure of Obama's foreign policy. Here's hoping that historians will see Obama's foreign policy as a success.
