It seems there some who are willing to kill others to "protect their heritage"
Death threats prompt company hired to remove Confederate monuments to back out of job
NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) – The Baton Rouge company, H&O Investments, hired to removed four Confederate monuments throughout New Orleans has backed out of its contract after receiving death threats, the company lawyer told WGNO.
On Tuesday Roy Maughan, a lawyer for H&O sent a letter to the City of New Orleans explaining they could no longer work with the City on this project after receiving several phone calls, social media messages and some death threats directed toward H&O’s owner and staff.
The letter goes on to say other area businesses threatened to cancel existing contracts with H&O, as well.
