If race wasnt relevant to the anti-gun crowd they wouldnt select only the mass shootings to crawl out from under their rock. They wouldnt ignore the 8,963 deaths and focus only on the ones that 'count'.

I must admit that typical thug on thug crime, regardless of race, is not going to get the same emotional reaction. But, whether the children were pink or not, recalling a nationally covered, front page, gun crime with a mentally ill perp, big body counts and committed with a scary black rifle is just outright irresistible fodder for the banoids even three years after it happened.

It's OBVIOUS that the anti-gun crowd only surfaces when there is the right racial component of shooters and/or victims. In the 2011/2012 school year in Chicago alone, 319 school aged children were shot.

In the 2012/2013 school year...the same year as the shooting in Newtown connecticut...440 school children were shot. At Sandy Hook...20 were shot. I'll bet you didnt know about the 759 school aged children shot in Chicago. yet they are still using those white children in Sandy Hook to promote Universal Background checks...knowing background checks were completed and they did nothing to prevent that tragedy.

Your claim that they care about black victims is ridiculous. Trotting out a line or two in a speech is akin to the people that say "look...they care...here was a rally back in 2007 where 19 people marched. 47 whole people marched that one time in Gary indiana back in 2011. 9 people signed a pledge to not use guns in Flint Michigan that one time in 2013. How can you say they dont care???"

I'm all for laying blame at Bush's feet. We're not going to end these attacks by playing the usual partisan game. I used Obama as an example of our current climate of down playing every new attack by chalking it up to just more violent crime.
All Americans need to realize that our quality of life will be lessened by continuing to go down this road.

Were not all lousy shots. I go to the shooting range and practice. Tons of gun owners I know do. The terrorist here is a bozo with a 3rd grade education who probably converted to Islam in prison.
Luckily he was no John Allen Mohammed, who killed 10 people for da Allah.
