IS leader linked to Paris attacks 'mastermind' killed in Syria

What is with this stupid herp derp librulz crap again? I swear it must pain you guys to think so you go to this "deeeerrrrr librulz" garbage.

As far as how to handle this guy... I was being facetious. Other than capturing him alive... which I'm glad of.

We interrogate him and put him in a MAX prison.

Let the Saudis interrogate him then we can interrogate him THEN put him in SuperMax.

Don't suppose you have a link that backs that as everything I have seen says they still get social time. Not saying your wrong as its not a topic I have researched much but I have read things that indicated otherwise.

They don't get social time in SuperMax and don't make me agree with Soho again. I don't like agreeing with him for obvious reasons.

Why not? I'm a great guy. Athletic, smart, affable, affluent and good looking. I have several friends that are similar to me but are knutle dragging conservatives but when they make a good point I acknowledge it. Then I make them buy drinks....

They can give him to the Saudis. They know how to deal with people of a radical mind set. Russia might want him back also. That wouldn't be good for him. Win/win.

Bleed him dry of his intel first, I think. But after that, Saudi or Russia suits me fine. He can rot over there someplace. Just as long as he doesn't get out alive.

Well thats good 'ol meaningless tough guy talk.

I have a lot more faith in US judicial system than you I suppose. And at the same time I'm sure I'm a bigger skeptic of it than you as well.

It isn't about faith in either the US judicial system or the military judicial system. It has to do about the situation that I described in my previous post.

Did he conspire to kill Americans? Did we capture him?

IPSO FACTO we have legal jurisdisction. As a fiscal conservative and a law and order type of guy I recognize that the cheapest and most secure place for us to stash him is a Supermax. Also though the death penalty is immoral there a good chance for the bloodthirsty types he gets a death penalty. The Feds are pretty good at that stuff. The OKC bomber was dead in a matter of years.

I don't see how an enemy combatant in an authorized theater of war, captured by the military US on foreign soil has anything to do with the US judicial system and US criminal law. It has everything to do with the US military judicial system, and, if appropriate, international laws regarding the war crimes and crimes against humanity that he's committed.

The only real issue I have with bringing him here is that unless he is kept in solitary confinement then he is going to spend from how till the day he dies spreading his perverted version of Islam to many of the exact type of folks who would be receptive to that. And unfortunately what often times make these guys successful terrorists is being good at creating followers and convincing them to do their bidding. So unless we are going to ensure that this guy as well as everyone he has contact with never see the outside of a prison I think bringing him here can have some real concerns.

Indeed. Yet another threat / risk from this person that we needn't deal with and shouldn't have to deal with.

I don't have any humanity for someone that could commit the vile atrocities that these people commit. It is probably cold hearted of me but multiple be-headings just sour me on the idea of a trial and rights for someone like this.

I am sorry maybe you are not aware debates typically work. You make a claim it is your responsibility to back it up. Not my job to search and see if you are telling the truth.

To be fair. You were completely ignorant of the facts of supermanx incarceration. Not sure how in this day and age particularly given a high profile supermax inmate sentencing. I am glad to have been of service in educating you on this matter.

This is going to sound barbaric but it would have been nice to capture the guy and give him to the Saudis. He could suffer before he got his 72 Virgins.

Saudi's might go easy on him being that Saudi Arabia and ISIL are both Sunni's. Kind of why I joked about giving him to Iran who would surely shred the guy to pieces.

Actually it seems you were not all that educated about it either. First you say no tv but your link says the opposite. Then you say he doesn't see anyone. Well why do you think he only spends 23 hours a day in his cell

More importantly maybe before you want to act like a know it all you should at least have all your facts straight. Otherwise you tend to look like you have no idea what you are talking about. But with your posting history I guess you have gotten used to that.

You got schooled and you are butt hurt. I'm sorry for that.

You have a bigger heart than I do. Saudi's don't go easy on anyone. Iran would never give us any of the intel.

Schooled by you being wrong. Doesn't look like it.

I truly apologize for educating you on the subject of an inmates life in a Supermax. I regret exposing your lack of knowledge on the subject. I'm especially sorry that one of your idealogical brethren was forced to agree with me. I'm deeply sorry I did this and hope for the new year that you will be better informed.

Happy new year!

What you should appologise for is acting like a know it all clown and then getting some of the facts wrong even more so due to the fact that right off the batt I said I didn't doubt you were right about how a super max was. You should also appologise for thinking you know what my ideology is when you don't have a clue and finally you should appologise for being one of the most clueless posters on this site.

While your hoping for people to be better informed you should probably start with yourself as I and many others have proved you wrong over and over again all over this forum.

And how things have changed in the propaganda spin since Russia got into the game.

14 months of US bombing in Syria creates refugees and makes ISIS even stronger. Russia is in for a few months and ISIS is in retreat and disarray. Now the US is finally starting to actually attack ISIS, and the spin in the media reflects it.

And Russia is helping to gain areas of Iraq that American troops had already won between the start of the war and 2011, when Obama had the troops removed. Regaining what he deliberately lost in 2011 certainly does not give Obama any bragging rights.

Make that ineffective bombing. It was just a pretense that something was being done, that actions were being taken and tough decisions being made. In fact it was a waste of time and money and ISIS became ever more powerful.

I really don't care about Barack Obama, because I've understood for years that he is but a puppet and a traitor.

What will be interesting to see in the next several months, is whether NATO member Turkey will be allowed to complete its invasion of Iraq. The US clearly approves of that, but I'm betting Russia will have some objections, and likely do something about it. ;)

It was effective enough to generate several hundred thousand, maybe more than a million Syrian refugees. What more could one ask for?

Right, but what about the other NATO members?

Right, but what about the other NATO members?

As expected, they are silent so far, about the Turkish invasion of Iraq.

Yes, I'm sure a million Syrians all got together and said, honey, grab up the kids, let's walk to Europe and try to find a new home. Our kitchen is getting too bad to remodel. Because the Czech president says so. :lamo

LOL. I give you this your elk (yes elk) is creative in making up nonsense. Russia isn't attacking ISIS in any substantive way and is certainly not helping gain territory in Iraq which was lost when bush made Iraq a client state of Iran with his multi trillion $ folly of an invasion and occupation.

In point of fact GWB and his cronies are unable to leave the country for fear of arrest.

We interrogate and then hand him to Iran. I'm afraid Saudi's would let him off easy because of like religion Sunni/Sunni. Like the guy who threw the shoe at Bush. Beaten up by the cops out front but hailed as a hero from then on.
