You claimed the IAEA backed up the story so I asked you for proof. Instead of providing it, you attack me. That tells me you were lying. No surprise there. You arent honest bout your lean, why would you be honest about anything.

They never got any money back in the anywhere near the amounts claimed......................most of it was already spoken for in paying off debts...........Estimates of the frozen Iranian assets range anywhere from US$20 billion to $180 billion. The larger figures generally come from conservative critics of the government in parliament. Rouhani government officials, on the other hand, have generally offered smaller estimates.
Iran will receive approximately $55 billion in sanctions relief once the nuclear deal is implemented,
And about $20 billion of Iran’s frozen assets……… has already been committed to infrastructure projects with China, and that Iran owes an additional "tens of billions" of dollars on nonperforming loans to its energy and banking sectors. And…………

In general, the value of all Iranian assets blocked since 1979 most likely exceeds $100 billion. However, the assets that will be released in the aftermath of the current deal are those that were blocked more recently because of Iran’s nuclear program. These represent only a fraction of Iran’s total frozen assets and probably won’t include any of those in the US.



Rather then believing what Faux Noise and others claim ...............you would be better served by not believing anything they claim as truth..........and seek the true answers on your own

This is great news. Making nice with Iran may not be palatable for many but ultimately they are ISIS' main target. And I'd rather have them doing that dirty work over their than us.

Uh, no, that's not how it works. You make a claim, it is up to you to back it up. You claimed the IAEA verified this story. You either need to back it up or admit you were lying. And since we both know you were lying there is really no reason to continue playing this game with you.

NO I never claimed IAEA has verified any story......I did say IAEA was the agency which told Bush there was no "weapons of mass destruction" in Iraq before he invaded........

As a matter of fact the news report is on-going and IAEA is still in the process of verification which will take time to complete........I hope this cools your feverous brow ..........

And if you were really interested you could have found the information on your own.........rather than imposing yourself on others because you do not know how.....or unmotivated to seek out what you could find by yourself.........and should already have some basis knowledge of the issue already so you could know where to find the answer to want you ask.........Sometimes this behavior is called being lazy.........

While it is very good and encouraging to see Iran keeping to the agreement, it is not yet success. Like the Cold War it continues till it is over and jubilation is always suspicious behavior and often naive, as we are learning with Russia.

Not being on the "right" I am talking out of turn. But it is surely naive to believe this is the time for a party. Of course it is very good that Iran seems to be keeping to the contract. But a watchful eye is important in these things and trust is, as Lenin noted, not good.

But yes. It is good that it has happened. Funny that iaea is not mentioned more prominently.

Ridiculous patronizing drivel. Iran isn't broken. The "deal", brokered primarily by the US is working. As to Israel helping Russia with regards to Syria, Russia is the only non belligerent in that conflict.

The shipment was announced by Secretary of State John Kerry and confirmed by a spokesman for Russia’s civilian nuclear company, Rosatom.

It seems we're taking the Russians word for it and if you can't trust the Putinistas who can you trust?
