Is there a count of those stoned to death? To be fair to Muslims Jews used to do it as well.

ISIS/ISIL will go down in history as an INCREDIBLY overrated bunch of barbaric whackos/idiots.

It is excellent that they are (slowly, unfortunately) being defeated.

But to call 10-20,000 ding dong's, running around in the desert of Iraq/Syria, who have virtually no air force or navy, as a legitimate threat to the West is nothing more then neocon-fuelled paranoia.

They will eventually be defeated (imo) whether the West helps or not.

Iraqi Army Says It Has Retaken City Of Ramadi From ISIS

Huge win against ISIS. Tip of the Hat to Obama.

Iraq's army said on Sunday it had defeated Islamic State fighters in a provincial capital west of Baghdad, the first major victory for the U.S.-trained force since it collapsed in the face of an assault by the militants 18 months ago.

Victory in Ramadi, capital of mainly Sunni-Muslim Anbar province in the Euphrates River valley west of the capital, deprives Islamic State militants of their biggest prize of 2015. The fighters captured it in May after government troops fled in a defeat which prompted Washington to take a hard look at strategy against the militants.

Tip of the hat for Obama, bwhahahahahahahahahahaha. Bush created that Army, all Obama did was sit in the Oval Office with his thumb up his ass. He has no foreign policy, and Kerry running it.

I seem to remember an election.... Don't you?

Yeah I do a bunch of ****es predictably took over. Started drilling holes in Sunnis as part of the democratic process. What's your point?

In other words, the IRAQIS are to blame for the IRAQIS acting badly towards other IRAQIS.

Since it is the IRAQIS that elected the IRAQI government into power.

Taking over a year to take back... the take back of the city is in no way a victory.

I'm guessing you've never been in combat.

Taking back a city is a really really big deal.

US air force+ Iraqi military (badly trained) vs terrorists in rubble surrounded on all sides for weeks. If you have seen the pictures of the city the place is reduced to rubble.

So?

What's your point?

I disagree. Look at Saudi Arabia, Qutar, Kuwait and the UAE. None of those nations have Muslim dictators running their countries and for the most part they function just fine. (Although I wouldn't necessarily put them up as models for the ME to follow...well, the UAE maybe.)
You're not really attempting to name any of the above listed as democratic, are you?

Okay, maybe that would be a tall order by Western standards anyway (read understanding of what democratic systems should look like), but none are governed by anything other than dictatorial measures by a totalitarian elite. The latter usually consisting of the most powerful clan.

Christians burned heretics. So what?

Is past conduct (that's long since become obsolete) in any way relevant to what is still being done today by those in question here?

Its funny that a lot of interventionists claim that Muslims arent doing anything to stem the tide of ISIS and they use that as their justification for military intervention...
