Carolyn Walker-Diallo, Muslim judge, sworn in on Koran in Brooklyn

You do realize he never did any such thing, right?

the op is about christians attacking muslims for swearing on the koran and not the bible, right?

the op is about christians attacking muslims for swearing on the koran and not the bible, right?

You accused Lord of Planar of doing it though. And the op is about some anonymous a-holes who post stupid things on Facebook. There is far, far more hatred of Christianity from the left than there is hatred of Islam from the right.

Swearing an oath of office on a holy book in a secular country seems really outmoded. This should be on Jon Oliver's recurring bit, "Why is this still a thing?"

That's my question, as well.

Be it a bible, a koran or any other "holy" book, aren't we past this era? It reeks of superstitionism.

where are democrats or leftists saying christianity should be outlawed, christians shoud wear ID badges and be banned from immigrating here?.... go ahead look for the quotes I'll wait

you do realize that your attacking a muslim for swearing on the koran right?

No I'm not.

I'm speaking of the liberal hypocrisy against Christians, as the Christian complaining about the Muslim swearing in with the Koran is as far as I care, equally steeped in hypocrisy.

And what does that say about those Christians? What is the point of this thread. There is bias and hatred in the world. This is a pretty minor thing in the scheme of things.

Can't we just all accept other people's values and customs, unless it affects ours?

The way I see a Christian attacking a democrat for an alternate religion is because the democrats are at the enter of trying to abolish any Christian symbols in public. Though childish in m view, the backlash is understandable.

no what leftist are against, is the whole act of "swearing" on any holy book at all, for any legal purposes, and are against this christian inspired religious ritual which is technically a violation of church and state

however conservatives are against a muslim public official being sworn in on a koran because ....ya know muslims are "yucky"

Looks like bigotry against Christians has no bounds.
I agree with the person saying that swearing in should be over the Constitution.

Another example of why the Unthinking Left is the Unthinking Left...

You want Sep of Church and State but would rather castigate Christian "bigotry" rather than speak up on the use of religious scriptures and symbolism in governmental ceremonies.

But go protest a nativity scene you pathetic cowards, g'head, g'head...

How about instead of a swearing in we have a pop quiz to make sure these sons of bitches actually know it is what they're suppose to be upholding?

They don't follow that, either... though I like the idea.

OK, how about swearing on a mint edition of Playboy #1?

This is an allegation that is false, and you cannot prove it.

Conservatives are no more afraid of Muslims than any other US political affiliation. Liberals like you, however, are brainwashed into think what you stated, by liberal pundits.

There is a fear of radical Islam, but not the Koran, or followers themselves. It's only a small handful of these people who commit such atrocities.

You should get out more, in the real world, and ask around.

this entire thread is proof did you even read the op? it says this was the reaction to a muslim judge being sworn in on a koran

“Sickening,” one Facebook user posted in response to the video. “Is this America or the Middle East.”

“Another piece of s--- Muslim,” another user wrote, “trying to take over this country.”

although i imagine thats nothing you wouldn't say, so i understand if you don't see anything wrong with that

Why?

because they gave one example of someone disliking the idea?

Is one persons facebook posting an example of all Christians?

If you believe such nonsense, then I simply have no words that will not get me chastised by a moderator.

Why is the OP flame baiting by saying "Jihadist Judge?"

although i imagine thats nothing you wouldn't say, so i understand if you don't see anything wrong with that
I have no problems with Muslims at all. Every one I have met have been great people. It's those few radicals that give Islam a bad name.

thats fair enough, but i don't think its unreasonable to assume that all the people who were "offended" by this, did not vote for obama? wouldn't you agree?

Hard to say. I never contemplated that before. I would suspect there were as many Obama voters that hate Muslims as there were voters opposing Obama. Very few actually believe the said ties of Obama and Muslim on either side. Such things are brought up in elections, because just a minor percentage of those affected voters can change the outcome.

I never liked Obama from the start. He was a "rising star" in the senate for no obvious reason, and then because the presidential candidate. He has no executive experience, yet was the golden boy for president. I can't help but wonder who is pulling his strings. I never liked the idea of him living overseas and taught bin Muslim schools as a child, but that was nothing compared to my other dislikes of him as president. I can see how it is a factor for many though.

Back to our judge, I haven't seen anything from the right saying anything bad about her. It is always the left, building these straw-men reason, lying about the right.

really your honestly saying you think a human being who voted for barack hussein obama as their president would be upset about a muslim being sworn in a koran?

I'm saying there are probable as many Obama supporters as those who oppose Obama that would be opposed to a Muslim judge.

Like it or not, racism is also in the left. I would say the left is more racist than the right, but that's a different discussion than for this thread.

Oh noes! What will a True Christian do if brought up before this jihadist judge!!!

Nope no unthinking bigotry in this nation, nope, not at all.
The people bitching about a muslin swearing in on a Koran crack me up. The whole point of swearing in on the bible is so Christians feel that they have to uphold that oath or incur some sort of divine punishment for violating that oath that they swore on the bible. Would it make those people feel better if that Muslim judge swore on a book that means nothing to her?
