Trump Now Leads Polls At 41%

Hilary is going to walk into the oval office. Campaign ads write themselves.

if it came down to those two, I have to decide on not voting vs voting for Hillary.

Trump has surged to his widest lead yet over everyone else, polling at 41%

Donald Trump Hits 41 Percent Support and Widest Lead Yet in New National Poll - ABC News

He is literally making history, and showing that he's the best choice to lead the fight against Hillary.

Well 41% of 47% (the now famous Romney stat) equals 19.3% overall which is still not enough to get elected.

Maybe Trump is getting closer to being nominated however.

Once he has the nomination sewn up, then we can expect to hear from the real Donald.

Then and only then will the real Donald please stand up -- please stand up.

Uh, no. He's a novelty which is why he's in the lead. I'll vote for him in the general election if he's the candidate because I can't stomach the idea of a Hillary Presidency, but I won't vote for him with any kind of exuberance.

The far right are really and truly douche bags when they fail to turn out and vote GOP just because they don't like the GOP candidate.

Trump is the biggest douche of them all.

he will never, ever get my vote. it isn't even a consideration.

In that hypothetical universe:

I'd urge you to do the sane thing and vote for Hillary.

Punish the GOP for nominating this inexperienced clown.

It's what I'll be doing, and I've had more candidates of interest for the GOP than ever before. It'd be a damn shame if I had to vote for Hillary if I find Cruz or any of the non-politicians in that slot, but I will without hesitation.

gop party(arab money-oil ) will kill trump

i love you mr trump.you was great man. :(:(

That's really sad because the GOP needs all the douche bag votes it can get.

The hope is that enough Independents will join in too.

It absolutely does NOT matter who the GOP candidate is this time around.

There are way too many SCOTUS nominations at stake now to be a prissy princess.

I don't know if Trump will get involved in Iran's nukes or not.

I believe he has criticized BHO for inking a deal.

However Trump is likely to let the IDF finish off any Iranian reactors with American made smart bombs.

Hillary's SCOTUS picks would be no worse then Trumps. the guy is the biggest moron around. I still am not convinced he is/is not a progressive ploy in the first place.

You must not be an owner of any guns then and you must not care either.

nothing Trumps says is trustworthy. 20 years ago he was donating money to the Clintons. he was touting liberal policy as good for business.

he is an empty suit, and I will never discount the possibility his entire purpose is to strengthen progressive policy

It's worth far more than just the SCOTUS. If the GOP were to win, they'd have the majority of Governors, state legislatures, the House, and the Senate.

It'd be a short-term GOP monopoly.

That's still no excuse to allow them to foul it up with someone who hasn't ever had political office being the most powerful individual in the world. For Christ's sake...Trump.

Actually, that "47%" number was people that Romney decided weren't worth trying to convince since they would be voting for the Democrat...so your point is useless.

Now...I don't know what percentage of the total voting population is Republican, but Trump get 41% of that number. (and probably a lot of Independents and even a few Democrats) He just MIGHT have enough to get elected, after all.

I have not yet met a Trump supporter in real life.

at holidays, if any of my family was truly in his corner, they were ashamed to say it. same with coworkers.

until we start actually voting, I am going to retain a healthy level of level of cynicism. I don't think he has the support the media claims. I think a lot of angry people that don't vote are shouting his name, and a lot of liberals rightly see him as the easiest candidate, and are pushing for him to be the guy.

Forty years ago I was smoking pot almost 24 hours a day...I grew my hair halfway to my waist...I had a glass bong collection that was quite artistic...and I lived with two hippie chicks. Oh...and I voted Democrat.

Times change and so have I. The same can happen to Trump.

I didn't have to go back 40 years, I had to go back two presidents.

When Bill Clinton was in office, he felt democrats were the best for the economy.

Donald Trump has changed his business views that much in such a short period of time?

IF true, he could certainly change back in a few months.

Actually I was referring to the 47% who voted FOR Romney.

It was just a divine comedy that he happened to pick that number for his own diatribe.
